     2017 Naikai Summer School

Nankai Summer School is an overseas short-term study program that provides students with the opportunity to expereience Chinese culture at one of China's top universities. The program allows students to explore Chinese culture and concepts from a unique Chinese perspective. It combines professional development with Chinese language training and culture studies, while leaving time for exploration, relaxation and fun. Four weeks in one of China's most energetic sea-port cities may inspire students to future study and to seek out new career opportunities. 

Course

2017 Summer School program is going to run for four weeks. Courses taught in English by Nankai University professors will cover a series of interdisciplinary topics like Chinese Economics. Business, History, Society, Law and public Policy. Chinese language training and culture studies (Tai Chi, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Fork Music, etc.) will also be included. In addition, study tour in and around Tianjin city will be arranged for participants to experience traditional Chinese culture and explore the unique concepts and perspectives on the variety of China.

Programs

Accommodation and Cost

Accommodation:

Students will be housed in an overseas student's dormitory. Each double occupancy room (2 students per room) comes with bathroom facilities and broadband internet access. 

Cost:

the program has been designed to minimize extra cost after arriving in China. The program fee of RMB 10,000.00 covers most expenses, including tuition fee, culture classes, accommodation and study tours. 

Please note: students will be responsible for the cost of food, study materials (i.e. textbooks) etc.

we will arrange study tours each week to help students better understand the history, society, culture and economy of China.

we will go to famous spots in Tianjin including Haihe Culture Square, Tianjin Italian Style Street, Huaming Town, Tianjin Museum, Tianjin Culture Center, Binhai New Area, Tianjin Dongjiang Port, Airbus A320 Final Assembly Line (FAL), Haihe Night Scenes.
