Scientific and technological powers progress in the human condition. Scientific progress increases most efficiently when validated research is shared quickly and widely. 

Environmental scientists have enabled us to continue human progress whilst protecting and nourishing the planet we share with other species. As a scientist, you have committed to developing knowledge and understanding of our world so it can be applied for the benefit of all.

ACS Environmental Au is a new open access journal that will support you in sharing your results widely and quickly across the world, so others can cite and build on the discoveries you have made.

As an open access journal, ACS Environmental Au is designed for authors and will enable you to:

• Grow your audience and citations - there is no barrier for readers anywhere in the world

• Feature in authentic, ACS journals

• Verify the authority of your work through robust ACS peer review

• Boost your contribution to the international scientific community

This broad-scope journal includes  significant, new experimental research and theoretical results in all aspects of environmental science and technology. 

The Editor, Professor Xiang-Dong Li (China), will ensure the peer review process for ACS Environmental Au will be rigorous, fair and efficient. The journal will publish significant, meaningful and impactful new research.

To make ACS Environmental Au open, discoverable and sustainable for all readers, the authors of accepted papers will pay an Author Publishing Fee (APC) and choose the CC-BY or CC-BY-NC-ND publishing license.

Your funder might actively support open access publishing and allow your APCs to be paid from your grant.
