新学期开始了，很多U粉儿都在后台给小U留言分享了自己的小故事，场面迷之尴尬。
同学你是什么专业的呀？

①物流 Logistics
天天说我们物流送快递的！我们……我们……我们是干嘛来着的？你问问送快递的要我这个弱女子吗？既抬不动东西又不认识路好吗……
②建筑 Architecture
我就是建工的，表示不止搬砖，还有和水泥和捆钢筋。我的青春谁做主，水泥钢筋混凝土。
③考古学 Archaeology
别人一听到我是学考古的，头脑立刻浮现出我后半辈子拿着铲子、铁锨在荒郊野岭挖别人祖坟的画面。我们是文化人好么！
④计算机 Computer Science
计算机专业就有的聊了，亲戚朋友眼中的我们是修电脑的，一旦说不会就会被反问，“你不是学计算机的吗？”；父母眼中的我们是未来的乔布斯、比尔盖茨；实际的我们……不说了，我要回去写作业了，我学长要去加班了。
⑤会计 Accounting
真希望会计就是数钱的，干嘛把简单的事搞那么复杂！哪里缺数钱的？我去！
⑥食品 Food Science
其实吧，我啥也不想说了。同学都劝我毕业之后去摆个烧烤摊，爸妈告诉我现在卖麻辣烫也不错：）
⑦心理学 Psychology
心理学宝宝表示现在被问道专业的时候都开始条件反射了。
“你是心理学专业吗？”
“嗯对，但是不会算命。”
⑧助产 Midwifery
我们真的不用在旁边喊加油！重要的事情再次强调，我们不是产婆，不是接生婆。
⑨口腔 Stomatology
系统解剖学、组织学与胚胎学、生理学、生物化学、分子生物学、病理学、病理生理学、药理学、医学免疫学、医学微生物学、口腔颌面解剖生理学、内科学、外科学、儿科学、妇科学、诊断学、口腔组织病理学、口腔正畸学……总而言之就是——拔牙的。
⑩医学检验 Medical Laboratory Science
小U啊，我跟你说，别人问我学什么的，“医学检验啊，噢，化验尿的。”我笑得云淡风轻，心里一群羊驼奔腾而过。
⑪园林设计 Landscape Architecture
自从学了园林，方圆百里的熟人谁家花要养不活了，都来问我，十里桃林都被我承包了！其实这算是好的，因为剩下的都以为我是种树的。
⑫ 农业 Agronomy Agricultural Sciences
什么专业不重要，什么学校才重要，各种农大的小伙伴们让我看到你们的手！不管学什么，大家都说我是种地的。暑假回家，叔叔拿一瓶蜂蜜过来问我：“学农的，你给我看看这蜂蜜正宗不？”我：“……”
⑬排水 Drainage Science
专业这种事情早已经看的很淡了，我都说自己是装马桶的和装水管的，都是为社会做贡献嘛！
⑭ 室内设计 Interior design
表示真的不是随便画个五分钟就能帮你装修房子，其实……我是刷墙的。
⑮ 服装设计 Fashion Design
不啊，改领口也是需要学会的，或者请直接叫我裁缝：）
⑯酒店管理 Hospitality Management
心态要好一点，当服务员不错了，经常被追问以后是不是要去端盘子……

阿姨叔叔都以为我是办结婚证的，其实，离婚证我们也办啊！你还要其他的不，我们代表的是非盈利性机构，口号是为人民服务！

小U建议，可以邀请其他专业的同学来听几门你们的专业课，顺路培养感情。大学时期不论选了什么专业，良好的学习和生活习惯才是最重要的，甚至会影响你的一生。
快速融入校园生活
❶ Value people above all else.
首先要重视与人相处。
If you're not good at remembering names, change that. Repeat the name or invent a story to associate a name to a person's personality or physique.
如果你不擅长记人名，要改改哦。可重复这个名字或编个故事将名字和一个人的个性或体形联系起来。
Avoid eating alone and you should value this part of your day as a moment to talk with friends and meet new people, which includes taking professors to lunch.
避免一个人吃饭，你应该把一天中的这一部分当作与朋友交谈，结交新朋友的时间，包括和老师一起吃午饭。
❷ Don't go home every weekend.
别每周末都回家。
This can be especially tempting if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend at home or if you live close to your school.
如果家那边有男朋友或女朋友，或者住得离学校近，回家可能特别具有诱惑力。
But going home every weekend prevents you from connecting with other students and getting comfortable with your campus.
但是每周末都回家会阻碍你和其他同学联系，影响你在校舒适生活。
❸ Be sure to participate in one or more campus activities.
确保参加一个或更多的校园活动。
For example, student union, musical and dance groups and seminars, and use activities to expand your horizons and interests.
例如学生会、音乐和舞蹈团体以及研讨会等，用活动来拓宽视野和兴趣。
Such collective endeavors give you an opportunity to develop group responsibilities, including social ethics and leadership skills necessary for later life.

But during the first term choose a limited number until you are confident you can handle your course workload.
但在第一学期选择参加的数量要有限，直到你有信心能处理好课业负担。
选课和学习不可小视
❶ Take classes that emphasize concepts and how to apply them.
选修强调理念和应用的课程。
Learning by rote is much less important than learning how to think for yourself and to solve problems.
死记硬背远没有学习如何独立思考、如何解决问题重要。
Be aware in your thinking of what you know, what you need to know, and what is unknowable. In small classes, participate in discussions; in large ones ask questions if you have them.
脑海中要清楚你已知的、需知的和未知的。在小课上，要参加讨论；在大课上，如果有问题就要问。
❷ Get to know at least one professor reasonably well each term.
每学期至少要认识一名老师，保持好适度关系。
The professors who ask you about your plan of study, your goals and your outside activities will not only be resources that you can go to for advice, but those who could be future references.
老师们会询问你的学习计划、你的目标、你的校外活动，他们不仅是你可以去寻求建议的人，还可能是你将来的推荐人。
❸ Find a few comfortable and quiet study places on campus.
在校园里找到一些安静舒适的学习场所。
Schedule study for the same time, every day. Many students study a couple of hours before dinner each night.
每天安排相同的时间学习。很多同学每晚在晚餐前学习几个小时。
That way, they have their evening free. On the whole, do everything in your power to work hard and graduate on time.
这样，他们晚上就空了。总之，尽你所能努力学习、按时毕业。

Learning to build on failures is an important quality for success.

❸ Laugh a lot and continue to develop your sense of humor.
爱笑，并继续培养你的幽默感。
When things are not going well, remember you can't fix the past.
当事情不顺利时，记住你不能改变过去。
But you can start where you are.
但是，你可以从现在开始。
学会时间管理
❶ Freshman
大一
In your freshman year, you can try a lot of activities, get your feet wet oncampus and take several different classes to see what it is you most enjoy.
大一的时候，你可以多参加活动，对校园环境多加熟悉，多上一些不同的课程看看你最感兴趣的是什么。
Keep a daily record of how you are using your time and each evening schedule the next day, even while knowing you won't be following that schedule exactly.
每天记录你是如何使用时间的，每晚安排第2天的日程，即使你知道自己不会完全遵守。
❷ Sophomore
大二
Sophomore year is a time to narrow down your academic focus and decide on the college major.
大二时要缩小学术研究关注的范围，选定大学的主攻专业。
Try to get a professional internship the summer between your sophomore and junior years to start having professional experience you will be able to list on your resume.
大二到大三的暑假去找一个专业的实习，开始积累一些专业相关的工作经历，以后可列在简历上。

大三
Junior year is a time to take on leadership positions in the curricula activitiesthat you've chosen.
到大三，你应该在你之前选择的那些课外活动中处于领导地位。
❹ Senior
大四
During your senior year, your goal should be to keep up your grade point average in your college major and focus on the job search for a position after graduation.
大四这一年，你的目标应该是在大学专业里保持良好的平均绩点，并集中精力为毕业找份工作。
Finally, it's your senior year of college, enjoy it, have some fun, take some time to really enjoy college before you're cast alone into the real world.
最后，这是你大学的最后一年了，享受大四吧，玩得开心点。在你独自进入现实社会打拼前，抓紧时间真正享受大学时光吧。
