Save the date: the 25th Sino-European RT Forum on Dec.2

As a professional and practical communication platform and channel for corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Sino-European CSR Roundtable Forum has been successfully held 24 times in the past years. It has been well received by stakeholders and conducted with great support from participants, including relevant Chinese government departments, CSR organizations as well as Chinese and European enterprises.

In response to the goal of achieving net zero emissions in the second half of this century set by the Paris Agreement, more and more governments have put forward a vision for a carbon-free future. More than 130 countries and regions have proposed goals of carbon neutrality or "zero carbon". Since the beginning of 2021, China’s aims to peak carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 (30•60 decarbonization goal) have also been written into the government work report and the 14th Five-Year Plan, which has strongly promoted the transition to green and low-carbon industries. The Opinions of the State Council on the Complete, Accurate and Comprehensive Implementation of the New Development Concept to Contribute to the 30·60 Decarbonization Goal pointed out that it is necessary to accelerate the establishment of a green trade system to continue optimizing the trade structure, which reflects the significance of green trade in achieving the 30·60 Goal.    

In this context, how to integrate green trade with the requirements of 30·60 Goal and achieve low-carbon emission reductions in all links of the global industrial chain, the 25th Sino-European CSR Roundtable Forum focuses on this topics and will invite well-known company representatives and sustainability experts to discuss the opportunities and challenges brought by the 30·60 Goal to green trade, and share how to transform the 30·60 Goal into feasible and achievable green trade actions.
