Interested in and available to contribute at least three months, starting from August, 2017

我们期待有兴趣的实习生能够在实习期完成下列主要实习任务：
通过社交媒体平台，利用photoshop等图像处理、图形设计工具进行活动宣传与推广
活动前的组织工作，包括准备所需材料、设备等
活动现场支持，包括欢迎来宾、来宾登记、回答来宾关于活动的基本问题
如有需要，在活动中进行会议记录和拍照
活动结束后撰写活动相关新闻用于会后推广
更新官方网站、设计宣传册和通讯文稿及其他推广相关材料
编译新闻及其他各类稿件
We highly expect interns to have interests and talents in the following aspects:
Events/Communication
Event promotion through social media platforms by using advanced image processing toolkits
Pre-event logistics, including preparing materials, tent cards, etc.
On-site event assistance, including registration, greeting guests, answering basic questions regarding events
Taking notes and photos during events when necessary
Writing news for post-event promotion
Updating the website, brochures, and newsletters, and other communication materials
Translating news and articles on a daily to weekly basis.

优秀的中英互译能力
熟练使用Office办公系统
良好的研究能力
有基础网页管理系统经验者更佳
有摄影和平面设计能力者更佳
了解社会问题和国际教育者更佳
Strong skills in social media platform management, and, etc.
Excellent translation skills
A good command of Office system
Strong research skills
Experience with basic website content management systems is a plus
Photography and/or graphic design is a plus
Knowledge of social issues and global education is a plus
Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with international and interdisciplinary team members in a multicultural environment and participate in local and international academic events. Selected interns will gain valuable work experience and a global perspective. Outstanding interns can get a recommendation or a reference letter from the Center to gain a competitive edge in achieving personal career goals.

Columbia Global Centers | Beijing, launched in March 2009, is one of eight Global Centers established by Columbia University operating around the world to connect the university’s faculty and students with the thinking communities in the regions working on global issues.
