在广州市城市规划展览中心,进门就会看到门厅上方有一幅巨大的混凝土墙。


You will see a huge concrete wall above the hall when you enter the Guangzhou City Planning Exhibition Hall.


这面混凝土墙初看之下似乎平平无奇,但是随着音乐响起,神奇的事情发生了,混凝土墙角落亮起无数光点,混凝土的坚实厚重的性质仿佛消弭了。


At first glance, the concrete wall seems obvious, but with the sound of music, magical things happen. Countless light spots appear in the corner of the concrete wall, and the solid and heavy nature of concrete seems to be eliminated.

亮光逐渐蔓延、扩大,观众才依稀看出,这是广州的城市肌理


随着投影的朝代不断更迭,广州的版图徐徐扩大,最终布满整整一面墙。原本“平平无奇”的混凝土墙,转眼间变成一面光毯,耀示着广州的版图。


The light gradually spread and expanded, and the audience vaguely found that this was the city texture of Guangzhou. With the continuous change of the dynasties of projection, the territory of Guangzhou gradually expanded and eventually covered the whole wall. The original "obvious" concrete wall suddenly turned into a light blanket and showing the territory of Guangzhou.

光的蔓延没有停止,亮光绕过转角,伸展向侧墙。站在旁边的扶手梯,能近距离看到板上的点点光亮。在音乐接近尾声的时候,两面墙布满无数光点,原本坚实的混凝土仿佛一个薄薄的纸盒,漏出满天星光。


The spread of light does not stop, the light rounding the corner, stretching to the side wall. Standing beside the escalator, you can see the light spots on the board at a close distance. At the end of the music, the two walls are covered with innumerable light spots. The original solid concrete is like a thin cardboard box, which is full of starlight.

这面巨大的透光混凝土墙由风语筑设计,而其所在的广州市城市规划展览中心,是由华南理工大学建筑设计研究院 何镜堂建筑创作院设计。


This huge translucent concrete wall is designed by Fengyuzhu and the Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall where the wall located is designed by the Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology.


我们采访了风语筑主设计团队主创人员刘骏和华工院设计团队主创人员何正强,一起了解这面透光混凝土墙的设计制作过程. 


We interviewed Liu Jun, the chief designer of Fengyuzhu’s main design team, and He Zhengqiang, the chief designer of design team of Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology to understand the design and production process of this translucent concrete wall.






Q1:广州市城市规划展览中心在展览设计上是怎么构思的?有什么特地为了展览考虑的设计吗?

How to design the Guangzhou Planning Exhibition Hall in exhibition design? Is there any design considered for the exhibition specifically?


何正强:我们的核心出发点有两个:建筑在满足使用功能之外,还能让出一个适宜交往的城市空间;人在观展的过程中也能看到表皮以外的风景,营造一个自然与建筑交融的内部空间。


广州本来就是一个“青山半入城”的宜居城市,作为展示这座城的一个窗口,让人边走边感受城市及其所处的自然环境,本身就是一个活态的展览,观众自然就会获得一个“沉浸式”的体验。这为展陈设计出了一道难题,常规的展陈手法在这里并不适用。但也提供了参照和立足点,能成为展陈的一条线索,减除多余的装饰和设施,在简单、真实的背景下做最精致的设计。


He Zhengqiang: we have two core starting points: the first one is in addition to meeting the use function, the construction can also make a suitable urban space for communication; the second one is during the exhibition, people can also see the scenery outside the skin of construction and create an internal space where nature and architecture blend together. Guangzhou is originally a livable city with "green hills half enter the city". As a window to show the city, Guangzhou Planning Exhibition Hall lets people feel the city and its natural environment while walking. It is a living exhibition in itself, and the audience will naturally get an "immersion" experience. It is a difficult problem for exhibition design, and the conventional exhibition method is not applicable here. However, it also provides a reference and foothold, which can become a clue for exhibition and display, eliminating redundant decoration and facilities, and making the most exquisite design under the simple and real background.



Q2:广州市城市规划展览中心的策展思路是怎么样的?

What is the planning idea of Guangzhou City Planning Exhibition Hall?


刘骏:整体策展思路从时间划分为过去、现在和未来,从空间上在以由暗到亮的光线变化来给参观者一种走向光明的感受。


整体空间设计,在绝对尊重建筑的前提下展开,简约、现代和国际化的表现手法和传统元素、材质和色彩的运用,延续何镜堂院士建筑设计整体思路,使得展览与建筑能够很好的相互契合,融为一体。


Liu Jun: the overall exhibition planning idea is divided into the past, the present and the future from time division. The light changes from dark to bright to give visitors a feeling of moving towards light in space. The overall space design is carried out under the premise of absolutely respect construction. The simple, modern and international expression techniques and the application of traditional elements, materials and colors continue the overall architectural design ideas of academician He Jingtang, so that the exhibition and the construction can be well integrated.



Q2:怎么想到用混凝土透光板来表现广州城市地图的?

How do you think of using concrete translucent board to represent the city map of Guangzhou?


刘骏:最初的设计是为了更加突出box的形态,外面采用的全是led包裹,考虑到屏幕不播放时是黑色状态较为压抑,也考虑到提倡节能和节约,不铺张浪费的精神;我们对方案进行调整,同时寻找新的装饰新型材料,样品看过后特别新颖也具有与内容结合的表现力。


Liu Jun: the original design is to highlight the shape of the box ,the outside is full wrapped with LED. Considering that the screen is black when it is not playing and the black state is more depressing and the spirit of promoting energy conservation and saving, not extravagance and waste. We adjusted the scheme and looked for new decorative materials. The samples are particularly novel and have the expressive power of combining with the contents.



Q3:在当时,透光混凝土在国内还是新兴的材料,制作是相对困难的,当时制作过程顺利吗?

At that time, translucent concrete was still a new material in China, and the production was relatively difficult. Was the production process going well at that time?


刘骏:由于是新型材料没有大面积使用的样板案例,同时又为了保证建设工期,采取了分批制作、运输、安装;但是安装完成后,由于与空气接触时间越来越久,出现了反碱现象和较大的色差问题;出现后采取了很多方式,重新涂层、化学剂氧化等都无法解决色差问题,后经过研究具体原因,决定拆除重新制作一批。


Liu Jun: due to the lack of large-scale use of new materials, and in order to ensure the construction period, batch production, transportation and installation were adopted. However, after the installation, as the contact time with the air was longer and longer, there were anti alkali phenomenon and large color difference. After the appearance, many methods were adopted, such as recoating and chemical oxidation, which could not solve the color difference. After studying the specific reasons, we decided to demolish and rebuild a new batch.



Q4:砸掉之后是怎么调整重做的呢?

How to adjust and redo after smashing?


刘骏:同样的水和混凝土比例,同样的日照和干透时间,同样的人员施工,完成预制后,工厂对色差进行挑选,微色差进行调换归类,将相近的颜色放在一起,然后进行编号,现场根据标号按照顺序安装。最后结果还是很圆满的,正如现在呈现给我们的。


Liu Jun: the same proportion of water and concrete, the same sunshine and drying time, the same personnel construction, after the completion of prefabrication, the factory will select the color difference, change and classify the slight color difference, put similar colors together, and then number them, and install them in sequence according to the label number. The final result is satisfactory, as is shown to us now.

Q5:现在做出来的效果满意吗?如果再来一次,会有什么需要调整的地方?

Is the result satisfactory? If do it again, what will need to be adjusted?


刘骏:就当时的技术和条件,效果还是很满意的,毕竟我们还赋予路网地图和广州生长的动态展示内容;现在的条件和技术较为成熟了,几乎可以做到无色差,全部批量成品化,且安装龙骨和缝隙也有了更加精细的安装方式,能够让整体感更好。


Liu Jun: according to the technology and conditions at that time, the effect was very satisfactory. After all, we also gave the road network map and the dynamic display content of Guangzhou growth. At present, the conditions and technology are more mature, almost can achieve no color difference, and complete batch production. Moreover, the installation of keel and gap also has a more detailed installation method, which can make the overall sense better.



Q6:以后还有用透光混凝土制作项目在计划当中吗?

Is there any project for making translucent concrete in the future?


刘骏:我们每个展馆还是要追求独一无二,有自己的不一样和特点,同样不是所有的展馆都有这样的条件和位置适合它。


Liu Jun: we still need to pursue the uniqueness of each pavilion, with its own differences and characteristics. Similarly, not all pavilions have such conditions and locations suitable for translucent concrete project.

结语 Conclusion


2017年,透光混凝土刚刚在国内兴起,那时能生产透光混凝土的供应商还不多,而且透光混凝土在生产工艺上还处于摸索阶段。


In 2017, translucent concrete just emerged in China. At that time, there were not many suppliers who could produce translucent concrete, and the production process of translucent concrete was still in the exploratory stage.


当时,最大的规格光影板尺寸约为1200×600×30mm,但经过这几年的探索和实验,材料性能快速迭代,生产工艺不断进步,透光混凝土薄板的规格已经可以做到1800×1600×30mm 和2000×1600×40mm的规格。这一技术进步,也为设计师带来更多的模数选择。


At that time, the largest size of light shadow board was about 1200 × 600 × 30mm, but after several years of exploration and experiment, the material performance was rapidly iterated, and the production technology was constantly improved. The specifications of translucent concrete sheet could reach 1800 × 1600 × 30mm and 2000 × 1600 × 40mm. This technical progress also brings more modulus choices for designers.


透光混凝土结合混凝土的简朴克制的美学追求与绚烂丰富的灯光显示效果,还有较大的设计空间可供探索,相信将会在未来越发风靡。


Translucent concrete combined with the simple and restrained aesthetic pursuit of concrete and gorgeous lighting display effect. Besides, there is still a large design space to explore. I believe that translucent concrete will become more and more popular in the future
