理发这种头等大事需要花多少钱？
你可能会想，各地消费水准不一样，价格自然不同。除此之外，高级沙龙和街边师傅收费肯定有区别。再说了，十多年前和现在放到一起，也是今非昔比。
幼儿园的时候剪个头就是2块钱，板寸，剪完了会从大人手里接过2枚硬币递给理发师傅。
现在，别说北京上海，光是杭州的小区理发店都要80-120。
一家店面不大的理发店，几乎全都是“资深发型设计师”，其中不乏“设计总监”。
充完一千块，拿着会员卡，我有一种站在“消费升级”潮头的错觉。
我想知道，大洋对岸，理发这种每个人都定时要做的事情，要花多少钱。
➤ I used to get mine done once every 2 months and I paid around £12. But recently I found a great stylish place that does a beautiful job with my hair and charges me £40. And the way they do it, I have to get it done once a month.
我以前是每两个月花12英镑剪一次头。不过最近我找到一家蛮不错的理发店，剪得很好，收费40镑。他们那样的剪法儿，叫我不得不每个月去一次。
➤ About every six weeks, pay $30 (plus a $5 tip). I’ve had the same barber for half my life. He also doubles as my therapist. I love you, Hector.
我每6个星期剪一次，花费30刀（另外还给5刀小费）。我这半辈子都是用的同一个理发师，他还是我心理医生。爱你，赫克托。
➤ I've been going to the same barber for almost 20 years. When that man retires, the most consistent relationship I've had will come to an end.
我20年来都是去找同一个师傅给我剪。如果他退休了，我这辈子最持久的关系就终结了。
➤ This is exactly the same for me. My barber has helped me through some tough times, just by being there to listen to me when I speak. The fact he keeps me relatively handsome is an added bonus.
我也是这样！我的理发师和我共渡了很多难关，他愿意听我吐苦水。给我弄好看点不过是意外收获罢了。
➤ I keep going back and forth between getting a basic $15 haircut at the local barber and a $40 one at that chain shop, where you also get a nice head/neck massage and hot towel treatment with the haircut. The $15 haircut is all I really need but it's nice to pamper myself a little and turn it into a relaxing hour away from the world.
我老是变来变去，有时候在附近理发店花15刀剪一下，有时候又会去连锁店剪个40刀的，那个地方还会给你按摩头和脖子，剪头的时候用的也是热毛巾。其实吧，对我来说剪个15块的就足够了，但是偶尔纵容一下自己对自己好点儿也没错，就当是放空自己一小时吧。
➤ $45, including tip. Sometimes $35 if it is a touch up. Not only does he do a good job, but it is also a convenience. At this point in my life, I will gladly pay more for convenience. It is across my street. Barber has offered to come to my house and cut my hair before. Guy knows exactly what he is doing and depending on the mood either we don't talk at all or we chat it up. So to me the amount is completely worth it. I also get compliments on my hair, which is nice.
45刀剪一次，包括小费。有时候如果只是修一修，就只要35。我的理发师不仅剪得好，而且提供很多方便。我都这把年纪了，花点钱买方便什么的我很乐意。理发店就在我家对过儿。理发师他也会上门服务。他清楚地知道怎么剪，看情况，有时候我俩不讲话，有时候也聊上一会儿。对我来讲，这价格挺值当的。也有人夸过我发型好看，挺好的。
➤ My husband gets his cut about every 6-8 weeks. We have clippers so usually I do it for him at home, but sometimes if he wants something different he goes to the local Great Clips or whatever chain hair place and gets it done for around $25.
我老公每6-8周剪次头发。因为家里有推子，所以一般就是我给他剪。但有时候他想换换发型，就会去附近的连锁理发店，花上25刀剪个头。
➤ Every 6 weeks to 2 months. I generally drop about fifty including the tip. I have curly, wavy, difficult to cut hair though, and these guys found a style that works for me even when it's getting a bit shaggy.
每6周或者2个月剪一次头。包括小费在内，我一般要花50刀。我的头发特别卷，很难剪，但这些理发师给我设计了个不用怎么打理，就算乱糟糟也看得过去的发型。
➤ Once a month - Don't really have much hair, but I go there because it's a barbershop run by Jamaicans and typically caters to Caribbean folks, so it's mostly the entertainment value of watching grown men sit around shooting the breeze. The haircut is 15 CAD, but I usually pay 20 CAD because Jerry's a cool dude.
每月剪一次。我头发不多，去理发店也是因为这家是牙买加人开的，专门服务加勒比人，在那儿看一帮成年人坐着侃大山特有意思。剪头是15加币，但一般我都给20，因为给我剪的Jerry真的是个不错的人。
➤ I pay $30 ($25+$5 tip) every two weeks. I've been going to the same guy for about a year now and would never go to anyone else. I've gotten my hair cut at some high-end salons that ended up costing me $100+, which was by far the best haircut experience I've ever had, but I don't want to be paying $200+ a month in haircuts.
我每两周剪一次，要花30刀（25剪头，5块小费）。这一年来我都是去同一个小哥那里剪，没去过别家。我也去过一些高端沙龙做过头发，剪一次要100多刀，不过的确是我迄今为止剪过最好的头，但是，我还是不想一个月花两百多刀在剪头发上。
也有人，尤其是男性，觉得无所谓，自己推省钱省力。

➤ Same! Just recently started buzzing my hair with the 3mm 1/8 clip a few months ago. Takes me 15 minutes total from setting up to hopping in the shower. I cut it once a week on fridays so I can look fresh throughout the week. People recently warmed up to it at work because I always look "clean" as opposed to before.
我也是诶！最近才开始用3mm 1/8的推子自己剪，剪了有几个月了。从开始准备到剪完去冲澡，总共也就15分钟。我每周五剪头，这样一来，我每周都可以有清爽的新发型。我同事都夸我剪得好，说是比之前看起来干净多了。
我觉得那些萌生出自己剪头想法的人，都曾经或多或少经历过跟发型师的“沟通困难”，从理发结果来看，会怀疑自己开始的时候讲的是不是中文。
有些人和理发师的理解是有偏差的，这些偏差包括但不限于：要剪掉的长度、刘海偏分的方向、头发的颜色、弯曲的形状……
就像下面这个故事。
Barber: What kinda cut you want?
理发师：您想剪成什么样子？
Me: Ever seen the moon?
我：你见过月亮吗？
Barber: Say no more..
理发师：别说了，我懂。
不觉得像美国著名动画工作室梦工厂吗？
总结下来，美国剪个头，街区连锁店的消费大概在20-50美元之间，高端沙龙可能要花数百美元。
算下来还是自己推最划算。不过，剪刘海手残的女孩子还是乖乖去跟理发师商量吧，争取做到沟通顺畅——“修一修就真的只要修一修”。
