港警被迫鸣枪示警，港媒借题发挥：“为何向记者开枪”？
25日，香港的暴力示威再度升级。
示威者在荃湾一带发起游行集会，他们向警察投掷自制汽油弹，打砸店铺，使用致命武器袭击警员。有警员在生命受到威胁的情况下向天鸣枪示警。

After a relatively calm week, Hong Kong devolved again into violent rioting this weekend with at one point on Sunday a police officer surrounded and being assaulted by protesters firing his service revolver.
经历了相对平静的一周后，周末的香港再度陷入暴力骚乱之中。25日，被示威者包围和袭击的一名警察开枪示警。

▌香港警察在生命受威胁下开枪示警
当晚，激进示威者在香港荃湾沙咀道与警方发生冲突，一度向警员进逼，警方后退。危急之下，现场6名警察拔枪，现场传出一声枪声，才让示威者短暂停下脚步。之后警方继续保持克制，撤退离开。

▌香港警方：鸣枪警告是合理的
26日凌晨1时30分，香港警方举行新闻发布会。
针对警员开枪一事，香港警队公共关系科高级警余铠均称，在不得已之下，有6名警员拔枪，其中一名警员向天鸣枪警告，未有人因此受伤。
余铠均表示警方的表现英勇克制，是合理的。

警方透露，在25日的示威驱散行动中，共有15名警员受伤。警方共拘捕29名男子及7名女子，涉嫌非法集结、藏有攻击性武器及袭警等。
“记者到底是不是真正的记者？”
25日晚，环球网记者在沙咀道十字路口目睹了大批“媒体”围攻警察的一幕：
大批携带凶器的暴徒与“媒体”不断追着几名警察叫骂，还有人从记者脚边捡起一根铁棍追打警察。随即，警察退守到街边名逸居的楼梯间，“媒体”则堵住出口，不让警察离开，声称“警察向记者开枪”，并要求警方回应。

本应是新闻事件中保持冷静客观的旁观者，而在香港街头，记者却变成暴力蛮横、围攻警察的帮凶。
在26日凌晨的警方发布会上，还有港媒记者追问，当时警员为何举枪指向记者。
警方表示，当时有记者站在示威者与警方中间，警员难以分辨是示威者还是记者。“有时警方都不知，穿上记者背心，到底是不是真正的记者”。
▌混乱之中这一跪演技满分
据报道，昨夜，在几名警察遭袭击，鸣枪要求示威者后退后，一名穿灰色背心的男子突然冲出作下跪状，疑似求警方不要开枪，但被警察一脚踢开。
这一幕被媒体拍了下来。
发布会上，警方解释说，这是一个非常时期，当时电光火石，生死一线之差，暴徒是用致命武器在袭击警员，还有人在警员拿枪后，向警察“做出一个动作”，可以说警员的行为是自然反应。

不过，在报道下面，不少网友表示这种镜头前做戏的伎俩一眼就识破了。
▌香港街头，只有他的“镜头”对准暴徒
24日，香港暴力示威者卷土重来。他们在观塘游行时投掷汽油弹、钢珠攻击警方，严重威胁公众安全。
但是，一些香港媒体却始终把镜头对准一名举枪的香港警察。

香港特区政府严厉谴责
26日0点47分，香港特区政府发言人就25日在葵青及荃湾等地区的示威活动作以下回应：
25日，在葵青及荃湾进行的游行集会，虽然警方经与主办方协商后已发出不反对通知书，但有示威者在游行期间偏离原定路线，堵塞道路，与警方对峙，以砖块、铁枝等肆意袭击警务人员，并向警车和警务人员多次投掷汽油弹，严重破坏社会安宁，对在场执法的警务人员和市民的人身安全构成极大的威胁。
In the procession and assembly in Kwai Tsing and Tsuen Wan yesterday, despite that a Letter of No Objection had been issued following discussion between the Police and the organiser, some protesters deviated from the original route during the procession, blocked roads, confronted the police, wantonly attacked police officers with things like bricks and iron rods, and hurled petrol bombs at police vehicles and officers many times, seriously breaching the public peace and posing a grave threat to the safety of police officers on duty as well as the members of the public at the scene.

有示威者在集会地点葵涌运动场取下国旗，并肆意践踏，行为挑战国家权威，亦涉嫌触犯《国旗及国徽条例》。

晚上一批激进示威者以暴力破坏多间位于荃湾的商铺，到场处理的警务人员一度被多名暴徒袭击，在生命受到威胁的情况下曾向天鸣枪示警。

之后激进示威者的暴力行动蔓延至深水埗、尖沙咀及红隧九龙出入口等多个地点。

激进示威者升级的违法及暴力行为不但令人发指，更将香港推向极为危险的边缘，特区政府予以严厉谴责，警方亦会严正追究。特区政府呼吁广大市民共同打击暴力，维护法治，尽快回复社会秩序。
The escalating illegal and violent acts of radical protesters are not only outrageous, they also push Hong Kong to the verge of a very dangerous situation. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government severely condemns these acts and the Police will strictly follow up on them. The HKSAR Government appeals to members of the public to combat violence and uphold the rule of law together so that order can be restored in society as soon as possible.
