美国死亡病例超1万，卫生官员：正面临珍珠港时刻
据美媒报道，当地时间6日下午，美国新冠病毒感染死亡病例超1万例，成为继意大利和西班牙之后，全球第三个死亡病例过万的国家。
More than 10,000 people have now died from COVID-19 in the U.S., as the coronavirus pandemic's horrible toll hit another milestone on Monday.
The U.S. trails only Italy (16,523 dead) and Spain (13,055 dead) in the number of people lost to the pandemic.

根据约翰斯·霍普金斯大学实时监测，截至美东时间6日下午5时，美国已至少有新冠病毒感染病例362756例，其中包括死亡病例10689例。过去不到24小时，美国新增感染病例27232例，新增死亡病例1127例。
The U.S. is reporting more COVID-19 cases than any other country in the world, with more than 360,000 people testing positive for the coronavirus, according to a COVID-19 dashboard created by Johns Hopkins University's Whiting School of Engineering, which reports coronavirus numbers in near real time.
而就在几天前，美国总统特朗普称，该国正面临疫情暴发以来“最艰难的几个星期”，并表示接下来“会死很多人，很不幸，会死很多人。”
The U.S. crossed the 10,000 mark days after President Trump warned that the country is facing "one of the toughest weeks" of the outbreak. He added, "There's going to be a lot of death, unfortunately. There will be a lot of deaths."
此外，美国卫生局局长杰罗姆·亚当斯表示，这周可能会成为该国“最艰难、最悲伤”的一周，将成为“珍珠港时刻、9·11时刻”，不同的是这次不是局部的。
Surgeon General Jerome Adams said Sunday that this week could be the nation's "hardest and saddest" thus far. “This is going to be our Pearl Harbor moment, our 9/11 moment, only it’s not going to be localized," Adams said.
