“如果美国禁用微信，我们也可以不用苹果手机”
8月27日，外交部举行例行记者会，发言人赵立坚答记者问。
有记者提问：据报道，26日上海美国商会公布的一项针对在沪美国公司的调查显示，近90%的受访企业认为美国政府对微信实施禁令将对其业务产生负面影响。超过三分之一的受访企业认为，该禁令可能对其全球收入造成损失。中方有何评论？
对此，赵立坚表示：
我也注意到这份调查结果。很多中国人表示，如果美国真的禁用了微信，那么苹果手机我们也可以不用用了。
I have taken note of the survey results. Many Chinese people are saying they may stop using iPhone if WeChat is banned in the US.
美国一些政客打着“国家安全”的幌子，滥用国家力量，无理打压非美国企业。这一“海盗行为”已经对包括美国在内的各国消费者和企业权益造成了损害，必将遭到国际社会的反对和抵制。
Under the guise of "national security", some US politicians have abused state power to unjustifiably suppress non-US companies. Such bandit action has done harm to the rights and interests of consumers and businesses in the US and other countries, and it is bound to be opposed and resisted by the international community.

我想强调的是，美国一些政客对包括微信在内的非美国企业的“围猎”，实质是将意识形态偏见的标签强加于非美国企业，是对某一领域取得领先优势的非美国企业采取有组织、系统性的经济霸凌。
I would like to stress that some US politicians hunting down WeChat and non-US companies is in essence an attempt to pin an ideological label on them and is organized and systematic economic bullying of non-US companies that take the lead in a certain field.
这种做法否定了美国一贯标榜的市场经济和公平竞争原则，践踏了国际规则，破坏了全球化浪潮下各国科技创新交流与合作。
This is a denial of the principle of market economy and fair competition that the US has always flaunted. It tramples on international rules and undermines the exchanges and cooperation in science, technology and innovation among countries riding the tide of globalization.

在这些人的眼里，所谓的“互联网自由化”，不过是“互联网美国化”；所谓“国家安全”，不过是“美式双标”的代名词。
In their eyes, the so-called "Internet liberalization" is nothing but the "Americanization of the Internet". The term "national security" is simply a byword for "American double standards".

美国一些政客将一己政治私利凌驾于市场原则和国际规则之上，将全球互联网置于危险之中。国际社会早已对这种行径看得一清二楚。
The international community has long been acutely aware of the actions of some US politicians who put the normal operation of the Internet at risk by putting their own political interests above market principles and international rules.
