昨天，“中国快递到底有多快”冲上微博热搜。9月10日，我国今年第500亿件快递诞生。最新数据显示，今年8月快递从发货到送达，平均只需48小时，创造了新纪录。根据预测，2020年全国快递业务量将突破750亿件。

中国快递的体量到底有多大呢？你或许猜不到，数据显示，我国快递行业每天处理的包裹平均达到2亿件。

China's courier sector is expected to handle over 75 billion parcels this year, the State Post Bureau said Thursday.

据中国国家邮政局的预测，中国今年的快递业务量将超过750亿件。

The country's express delivery firms have handled 50 billion parcels as of Thursday, accounting for about 200 million packages daily on an average, the bureau said.

国家邮政局表示，到今年9月10日，中国的快递公司共计处理了500亿件包裹，相当于平均每天处理2亿件包裹。

尽管快递行业在年初受到疫情冲击，但随着复工复产，快递行业还是在今年创下新纪录：

Due to COVID-19, the sector saw dampened business in January but resumed growth in February. In the second quarter, along with work resumption, the growth rate of the sector hit more than 30 percent.

受新冠肺炎疫情影响，快递行业今年1月受到冲击，但在2月就恢复增长。随着第二季度复工复产，快递行业增长率超过30%。

The year-on-year growth of the courier sector exceeded 40 percent in May, a record high since February 2018, the bureau said.

国家邮政局表示，快递行业同比增长超过40%，创2018年2月以来新高。

而快递数量的增加，背后则是电商的发展。

商务部：全国网购用户比上年增加1亿

据报道，1-6月，全国网络零售额达5.15万亿元，同比增长7.3%；增速连续四个月提升，6月当月增幅达18.6%。据每日经济新闻报道称，全社会有四分之一的消费品是在网上购买的。

China's online retail sales reached 5.15 trillion yuan (about 736.7 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2020, up 7.3 percent year on year, according to the Ministry of Commerce (MOC). 

根据商务部数据，2020年上半年，全国网络零售额达5.15万亿元，同比增长7.3%。

The number of e-commerce users in China rose by 100 million compared with last year, and the number of stores on major online retail platforms went up 3.8 percent year on year, the MOC data showed.

数据显示，与去年相比，全国网购用户比上年增加1亿，主要电商平台的商家数同比增长3.8%。

据菜鸟平台最新数据显示，今年8月，快递速度创新纪录，平均48小时即可送达。5年间包裹数量增长了近3倍，速度却加快了10个小时。
