NATIONAL DAY | CCNU Celebrates 70th Birthday of PRC

The national flag guard raised the fluttering flag as the national anthem began.
Zou Zepei, the student representative, delivered a speech. He said, “We youth ought to be patriotic for China, to be grateful for China and to be proud of China, exerting our complete efforts to achieve the two centenary goals. ”
Zhao Lingyun, President and Vice Chairman of the University Council, delivered a speech. “Over the seven decades, the Chinese nation, under the leadership of the CPC, has achieved a tremendous transformation: it has stood up and grown prosperous and is becoming strong. Over the seven decades, CCNU has achieved developments and improvements: the talent training system is being consummated steadily; the international exchanges and collaborations are being further expanded and the improvement of the conditions for running schools is speeding up. We CCNUers will work with stamina and diligence and continue to write new glorious chapters for the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.”
And as the school flag rose slowly, all present sang the school song. In a solemn atmosphere, all attendants joined the chorus and sang for the motherland and took group photos with the national flag, at the great moment - a landmark for China’s development and an important milestone of CCNU.
Now came to the oath-taking part. Zhao Lingyun, together with all the Party members, took an oath in front of the national flag, expressing their loyalty to China.

The concept of friendly-environmental protection and humanistic care is completely implemented. Meanwhile, it adapts to the requirements of information-based education and contributes to promoting the intellectualization of education and research, and is a demonstration center for promoting the modernization of education and constructing an education powerhouse.
“2019 is the 70th anniversary of PRC founding as well as the 116th anniversary of the founding of CCNU. We’ve reconstructed buildings, provided a more pleasant study environment and developed stronger disciplines. We’ve improved a lot while staying true to our original mission.” Cai stressed.
Afterwards, the school leaders and representatives planted 21 trees. This activity showed that the environmental-friendly idea is deeply implanted into everyone’s mind and contributes to the national development and the development of CCNU.
Teachers and students expressed their sincerest wishes for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, wishing our great motherland happy birthday and a brighter future.
