Admissions Open for the 2020-2021 Academic Year
Over the past few weeks, the Wellington College International Hangzhou community has rallied together to face and overcome the challenges associated with the novel coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). As our Executive Master, Mr. Paul Rogers, has stated, “We aim to provide the best educational experience we can for all pupils regardless of subject or a child’s level.” This commitment to academic quality, as well as our children’s emotional and physical wellbeing, is even more important to us as we continue to support our pupils during this period of uncertainty.

Scholarships
We recognise and reward excellence by offering scholarships in the categories of music, sport and academics. Scholars play a significant role in the life of the college and, whatever their discipline, must show a high degree of ability in their chosen field and be able to demonstrate leadership in the encouragement of non-scholarship holding pupils. For the 2020-2021 academic year we are introducing a range of academic scholarships that can result in significant, or full reduction of tuition fees. For the most up-to-date scholarship information, please contact the Admissions team.
Bursaries
The College also offers bursaries. Bursaries are awarded on a discretionary basis following rigorous and objective means testing. The level of financial support varies according to parental need, and therefore parents will be required to provide supporting documentation to assist their application. All bursary awards are confidential, subject to annual review of parental means and may be varied depending on changing parental circumstances.
Application Process and Criteria
In line with the admissions regulations for international schools in China, Wellington College International Hangzhou can only accept applications for pupils who meet certain criteria:
