Malawi is a country found in the continent of Africa. It is bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Tanzania to the northeast, it shares border with Mozambique to the east, south and west sides. Its capital city is Lilongwe, its commercial center is Blantyre.
马拉维是非洲大陆上的一个国家。西北与赞比亚接壤，东北接坦桑尼亚，东、南和西与莫桑比克接壤。它的首都是利隆圭，商业中心是布兰泰尔。

Malawi has two sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, they are Lake Malawi National Park and the Chongoni Rock Art Area.

An interesting fact about Malawi is that, Lake Malawi occupies about a fifth of the country’s total area.

As of 2019 estimates, Malawi’s population is 19.72 million. The people of Malawi speak many languages, but English and Chichewa are the official languages of Malawi.

The national flag of Malawi features three Pan African colors, red, black and green stripes, with a white rising sun in the middle. The sun represents the economic progress Malawi has made since its independence.

The national anthem of Malawi is “Mulungu dalitsani Malawi” which is Chichewa for “O God Bless Our Land of Malawi.”

Malawi is divided into three main regions with 28 districts. Three regions are Central Region, Northern Region, and Southern Region.

Named after Lilongwe river, Lilongwe is the administrative center and trading center. Education, transportation, entertainment, and sports facilities are mostly found in this city. The city also hosts the Lilongwe International Airport, clock tower, parliament building, shopping malls, etc.

Malawi is home to one of the great lakes of Africa, that is, Malawi lake, it is the second deepest and the third largest lake in Africa. It has more species of fish than any other lake in the world. The most known species in this lake are the Cichlids species. This is one of the beautiful lakes in the world.
马拉维是非洲五大湖之一，马拉维湖的所在地，它是非洲第二深，第三大湖。它的鱼种类比世界上任何一个湖泊多。这个湖上最有名的物种是丽鱼。这个湖也是世界上最美丽的湖泊之一。

Malawi has numerous national parks and game reserves such as Liwonde National Park, Nyika national Park, Kasungu National Park, Lake Malawi Marine Park, and Lengwe National Park.
