Mali is a country in West Africa. The capital city of Mali is Bamako. It borders Guinea, Cote d'Ivoire to the south, Burkina Faso and Niger to the east, Algeria to the north, and Senegal and Mauritania to the west.

马里是西非的国家，它的首都是巴马科。南部与几内亚、科特迪瓦交界、东与布基纳法索和尼日尔接壤，北接阿尔及利亚，西与塞内加尔和毛里塔尼亚接壤。

The national flag of Mali is a tricolor flag with three stripes - green, gold and red. Green symbolizes the fertility of the land, gold symbolizes the abundance of minerals and red symbolizes the struggle for independence.

马里国旗是三色旗，有绿、金、红三条条纹。绿色象征着土地的肥沃，金色象征着丰富的矿物，红色象征着独立的斗争。

The national anthem of Mali is "Le Mali." The official language of Mali is French.

马里的国歌是“Le Mali”。它的官方语言是法语。

Bamako is the capital and largest city of Mali. The name Bamako comes from the Bambara word meaning "crocodile river."

Musa Keita I (c. 1280 - c. 1337) was the tenth emperor of the wealthy West African Mali Empire. During his reign Mali have been the largest producer of gold in the world. He is known as the richest person in history.

Djenne 杰内

Djenné was founded in the 13th century near the site of Djenné-Jeno and grew into an entrepôt between the traders of the central and western Sudan and those of Guinea’s tropical forests. The city benefited both from its direct connection by the river with Timbuktu and from its situation at the head of the trade routes to the gold mines of Bitou (now in Côte d’Ivoire), to Lobé, and to Bouré; it was also an important entrepôt for salt. By the mid-17th century, Djenné was renowned as a center of Muslim learning.

Some of the most beautiful natural landmarks are found in Mali, including Hand of Fatima, Arch of Kamadjan, Mount Hombori (the tallest mountain in Mali), Trantimou grossu larandradite etc.

Commonly eaten foods in Mali include rice, mullet, fish, meat and vegetables. Malians often drink a specialty juice called djablani, which is made from ginger, hibiscus or baobab fruit.

China and Mali officially completed the procedures for setting up diplomatic relationships on October 25th, 1960. Since then, China has provided Mali with aid such as a textile mill, sugar refinery, leather processing factory, pharmacy, stadium, infrastructure building, and other projects.

中国和马里于1960年10月25日正式完成建交手续。此后，中国向马里提供了纺织厂、制糖厂、皮革加工厂、制药厂、体育场、基础设施建设等项目的援助。

The major exports from China to Mali are tea, mechanic and electric products and motorbikes, etc. while the major imports to China from Mali are cotton and untreated cowhide.

从中国主要出口到马里的产品有：茶叶、机电产品、摩托车等；从马里到中国的主要出口产品有：棉花和未加工的牛皮。
