As countries brand themselves, symbolism plays a big role. Symbols show how unique the nation is and reflect different aspects of its cultural life and history. Germany is not different and so below are the National and Cultural symbols of Germany.

当国家宣传自己的时候，国家的象征是最重要的。这些象征会显示国家的独特性，反映了其文化生活和历史的不同方面。德国也不例外，下面是德国的民族和文化的象征。

National flag of Germany

National Flag 国旗

The national flag of Germany is a tricolor flag consisting of three equal horizontal bands showing the national colors of Germany. The color combination is a rendition of the uniform that the soldiers wore during the Napoleonic Wars.

德国国旗是一种三色旗，由三条水平相等的条纹组成，显示了德国的国色。颜色组合是拿破仑战争期间士兵们所穿制服的一种再现。

Coat of Arms 盾徽

Deemed as one of the oldest state symbols in Europe, the Germany coat of arms was conceived in the eleventh century. It portrays a black eagle on a yellow shield. The eagle represents the bird of the god named Odin, per a Germanic tribe.

德国盾徽被认为是欧洲最古老的国家象征之一，它诞生于11世纪。它描绘了一只戴着黄色盾牌的黑鹰。按照日耳曼部落的说法，鹰代表上帝奥丁的鸟。

National Anthem 国歌

The national anthem of Germany is "Das Lied der Deutschen" which translates to the "Song of Germany." It was adopted in 1990 when Germany was reunified.

它的官方语言是德语。德国国歌是"Das Lied der Deutschen"，意为“德国之歌”。

National Tree 国树

The national tree of Germany is Oak. The Oak tree is usually found in the northern hemisphere, in Germany it stands for strength and endurance.

The national bird/animal of Germany is Eagle.

Brandenburg Gate 勃兰登堡门

Brandenburg Gate is an important German cultural symbol and landmark. It is in the capital city, Berlin. It was commissioned by King Frederick William II of Prussia and built by Carl Gotthard Langhans from 1788 to 1791.

勃兰登堡门是德国重要的文化标志。它在德国的首都，柏林。它是由普鲁士国王弗雷德里克·威廉二世委托建造的，由卡尔·戈特哈德·兰汉斯于1788年至1791年建造。
