Madagascar is an island country in the western Indian Ocean off the coast of southern-east Africa. It consists of numerous islands, the largest of which is the island of Madagascar, which is the largest island in Africa and the fourth largest island in the world, after Greenland, New Guinea, and Borneo. The capital city of Madagascar is Antananarivo and its official languages are Malagasy and French.
马达加斯加是印度洋西部的一个岛国，位于东非南部海岸。它由许多岛屿组成，其中最大的是马达加斯加岛，是非洲最大的岛屿，世界第四大岛屿，仅次于格陵兰岛、新几内亚岛和婆罗洲。马达加斯加首都是安塔那利佛，而它的官方语言是马达加斯加语和法语。
National Flag 国旗
The national flag of Madagascar consists of a white vertical stripe on the left with red and green horizontal stripes on the right side.

National Anthem 国歌
The national anthem of Madagascar is "Ry Tanindrazanay malala ô!" which means "Oh, Our Beloved Fatherland" in English.

The currency used in Madagascar is Malagasy Ariary.

The national animal of Madagascar is a ring-tailed lemur.

Natural resources in Madagascar includes:

-Minerals such as strong Nickel, Copper, Platinum, graphite, Coal, Bauxite, Iron, Sapphires, Chromite, Gold.

-Fish such as crayfish, crabs, shrimp, tilapia, catfish and herring.

-Mangroves and coral reefs.

-Wood, Madagascar has a huge amount of intact, native forests containing unique plant species and about 900 species of orchids.

Madagascar has six provinces: Antananarivo, Antsiranana, Mahajanga, Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa, Toamasina, Toliara.
马达加斯加有六个省，分别是：安塔那那利佛、安齐拉纳纳、马哈赞加、安齐拉贝、菲亚纳兰楚阿、图阿马西那、图莱亚尔。
Antananarivo 安塔那那利佛
Antananarivo, often shortened to Tana, is found at the center of Madagascar. The city serves as the capital city of Madagascar. It is the center of Madagascar's political, economic, educational, and cultural activities and the headquarters of many national, international, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are located here.
安塔那那利佛，通常简称为塔纳，位于马达加斯加中心。这座城市是马达加斯加的首都。它是马达加斯加政治、经济、教育和文化活动的中心，许多国家、国际和非政府组织的总部设在这里。
Antsiranana 安齐拉纳纳
Antsiranana is found in the northern part. It includes Babaomby which is the peninsula paradise for windsurfing and many smaller islands like Nosy Be, Nosy Iranja, Nosy komba (Lemur Island) etc. Some of the best landscapes here are the Ramena Beach, the Amber Mountain, the Ankarana Massif, and the red tsingys.

Mahajanga is a seaside town in the western part. It is mostly famous for the Cirque Rouge near the beach but the city also has caves and natural pools, also the Ankarafantsika national park is on the road to Mahajanga.

Antsirabe 安齐拉贝

Antsirabe is the second largest city in Madagascar. The Railway Station, the Independance Square, and the Lake Tritriva are among the attractions of Antsirabe.

Fianarantsoa 菲亚纳兰楚阿
This town have a lot of scenic spots such as Ranomafana National Park, Geysers, Isalo and Andringitra National Parks which are mainly known for their canyons and sandstone. Manakara and its beach is also near Fianarantsoa.

Toamasina 图阿马西纳
Toamasina is the most important seaport of the country. The Canal of Pangalanes stretches along the east coast from Toamasina. Its most visited beach is Foulepointe. The small island "îles aux nattes" next to Toamasina is a honeymoon destination.

Toliara is in the southern part of the island where the Bemaraha tsingy, the Baobab Avenue and the small town of Fort Dauphin are located. It also has a beach with white sands and dunes.

Madagscar is known for its wildlife which is unique only to Madagascar, almost 90% of its known wildlife is endemic to Madagascar.
