SZ Announces Vacation and School Dates 深圳公布中小学寒暑假和开学时间

Shenzhen has officially announced the start of summer vacation for primary and junior high school students. According to the announcement, primary school students will begin their summer vacation on July 12th, while junior high school students will begin on July 18.

深圳官宣中小学生暑假时间。根据公告，小学生将于7月12日开始放暑假，初中生将于7月18日开始放暑假。

The notice issued on June 12th also made clear the beginning of the 2020/2021 school year's autumn and spring school terms. 

深圳市教育局于6月12日发布关于印发《深圳市2020-2021学年普通中小学校校历》的通知，其中明确——

① The city's compulsory education stage schools will start this year's summer vacation from July 12 for primary schools, while middle schools will start from July 18.

全市义务教育阶段学校，2020年暑假，小学从7月12日开始，中学从7月18日开始。

② The autumn school term will start on September 1, 2020. The city's third year senior high schools will begin classes on August 10, 2020.

2020年秋季开学时间为9月1日。全市高三年级于2020年8月10日开始新学年上课。

③ In 2021, the city's compulsory education stage schools will start winter vacation on January 24 and schools will open on February 22. The summer vacation of 2021 will begin on July 11.

2021年寒假放假时间，全市义务教育阶段学校从1月24日开始，2月22日开学。2021年暑假从7月11日开始。

④ For ordinary high schools, the winter vacation in 2021 will begin on January 31 and schools will open on February 22, furthermore, the summer vacation in 2021 will begin on July 11.

普通高中学校，2021年寒假1月31日开始，2月22日开学，2021年暑假起始时间为7月11日。
