During this holiday you might want to go out and relax, see the city's beauty and enjoy yourself. Shenzhen has numerous attractions that you can visit, some with entrance fees and others are completely free. Today we will look at attractions that are offered to you completely free of charge.
We will start with Fangpoti Park
The highlight of this park is the lighthouse, which combined with the shaded veranda and wooden seats, they will give you a very relaxed and romantic atmosphere. It's an ideal place to seat around with family and friends while enjoying the sea breeze.

Dashahe ecological corridor is 13.7 km in length. it is from Shenzhen Bay to university town, connecting multiple Parks. It is an ideal place to go for a walk.

Notes:
1. Bicycles are not allowed on weekends and legal holidays;
2. It is forbidden to park bicycles in the park;
3. The section between Peking University's Shenzhen Graduate School and Tsinghua University's Shenzhen International Graduate School is still under-construction.
Jiuxiangling Wetland Park is in the middle reaches of Dashahe ecological corridor. The environment is especially suitable for parent-child and couples. There is an amusement park which is suitable for children.

Opening hours: 6:00-23:00 every day.
Address: 150 meters northeast of the intersection of Yanhe Road and Liuxian Avenue, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province
Transportation: take subway line 5 or line 7 to exit D of Xili station and walk for about 700 meters
This place is suitable for a walk, jog or a ride. It's also a good place to take photos in the forest.

Address: No.6, Qiaocheng East Street, Nanshan District, Shenzhen
Metro: exit C of "Qiaocheng North Station" of Metro Line 2. Walk 1.1km after leaving the station.
There is a "European town" next to Window of the World (世界之窗), it is a very comfortable enviroment where you can have a cup of coffee with friends.

Qianhai Stone Park has sea view, you can go there to enjoy the sea breeze and daze.

If flowers are your thing, then this garden is where you should go. It is also a great place for a picnic and bask in the sun on the grass.

Location: Bauhinia Garden is near Qianhai Stone Park
Shekou value factory was formerly a glass factory, but is now a creative park. Occasionally there will be exhibitions and you need to register to get in so remember to bring your ID card/passport when you go there.

Address: No.8, Haiwan Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen
Nearby bus stations: Value factory station, Shekou SCT terminal station
Subway: take Metro Line 2 or line 5 to Chiwan station, about 3 km away from the subway station. After arriving, you can take a taxi to reach there
Here there is a statue of Lin Zexu and a fort, it is very close to Shekou value factory. You can actually visit both scenic spots if you live far away so you can enjoy both of them at one go.

Metro: exit C of Chiwan metro station of line 2, which is a distance from the subway station, so you need to take a taxi
The museum is open for free, but requires booking in advance.

Address: No.9, Chiwan 6th Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen
Opening hours: Tuesdays to Sundays: 9:00-16:00 (entrance will be paused at 15:00 and the venue will be cleaned and disinfected). The museum will be closed on Mondays (except for national legal major holidays and traditional folk festivals, the first day, the 15th and the 16th day of the Lunar New Year).
This is a Shenzhen contemporary art and urban planning exhibition hall, so if you are interested in contemporary art or urban planning, you can't miss this place.
Entrance: Free with ID card; children under 6-13 years old need to be accompanied by their parents, and it is now required to make a booking in advance.

Metro: exit A2 of children's Palace Station on line 3 / 4; take 5 minutes to the destination from exit a of citizen center station from Metro Line 2.)
