Number of Foreigners Living in China Disclosed

China released the results of the seventh national census on 11th May 2021. The census showed that 845,697 foreigners are living in China.
中国于2021年5月11日发布了第七次全国人口普查结果。人口普查显示，在中国居住的外国人有845,697人。

Given that the census was taken in 2020 during the epidemic and that many foreigners are departing China in 2022, I believe these figures can provide insight on the number of foreigners residing in China at the time.
