2022年8月20-24日，ZIBS学生线上参与了HPAIR 亚洲论坛，本届论坛的主题为“FINDING OUR FUTURE”， 大家通过聆听主旨演讲、开展嘉宾对谈，参与专场研讨会等形式了解了国际前沿知识进展并与来自世界各地的优秀学子广泛交流，收获许多有趣的经验。现在，快来听听来自她们的体验分享吧！

From August 20th to 24th, 2022, ZIBS students participated in HPAIR ASIA CONFERENCE online. The theme of the forum was "FINDING OUR FUTURE". By listening to keynote speeches, participating in guest talks, and conducting special Seminars, ZIBS students learned about the advances in international cutting-edge knowledge, communicated extensively with high-quality students from all over the world, and gained many interesting experiences. “Given the chance to join HPAIR was such a great experience! I got to make new friends from around the world. The most exciting part was when we had to work together as a group, even when we hadn’t known each other for long. However, since I joined the conference virtually, some technical improvements were needed in order for online delegates to have a better experience. Overall, it was fun.”

My review for HPAIR 2022:

+ So many great insights from amazing speakers.

+ The topics are fascinating. We can choose the ones we want, especially for virtual delegates. We can jump from one session to another.

- Concerning nationalities, participants are not well separated.

- Technical support is not good.

“HPAIR was a really interesting experience for me, who had never had such an experience before. I really enjoyed listening to the guests speak, whether the conferences were business-related, like Geoff Ralston, or whether it was more general topics from speakers like Leslie Coutterand and Anupam Tripathi. I enjoyed the Q&A sections of each conference the most, as they provided the chance for us to ask questions we were curious about. The conference allowed us to meet and interact through the networking sessions, with people of similar interests and goals, which, in my opinion, was one of the highlights of the events. Besides, I am also really glad to have gotten closer to other GCM students who participated. We spent a lot of time discussing the conferences and also working together on the impact challenge, so I feel HPAIR definitely helped us get to know each other better.

Overall, I gained a really memorable experience, was given the opportunity to interact with a lot of new people, and learned about Indian culture. There was such a wide range of topics, through which my views and perspectives on different issues in the business or influencer world have changed. The HPAIR conference was truly eye-opening, which allowed me to broaden my perspectives on various topics, both academic and interest-based.”

What is HPAIR?

The Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) was founded in 1991 to create a forum of exchange for students and young professionals to discuss and learn about the most important economic, political, and social issues facing the Asia-Pacific region. Since 1991, HPAIR has organized 49 conferences in 34 different host countries, touching the lives of more than 40,000 students and young professionals.
