画廊周北京2021文化合作伙伴：美凯龙艺术中心｜“日落放映”预告

夜幕降临时，人们会变得焦躁不安、思绪混乱、更加活跃，这就是所谓的“日落综合征”。
作为美凯龙艺术中心与画廊周北京合作的特别公共项目，我们邀请艺术家何颖宜为日落游荡者们搭建了一处可以在漫漫夕阳下停留、闲聊、小酌的场地。在这个绿意盎然的小丘上，人们可以通过户外屏幕观看美凯龙艺术中心的“赤屏”项目委任制作的影像。其中，来自陈轴、陶辉、陈天灼、刘沁敏、郑可与谭婧、唐潮等艺术家的新创作将以线下展映的方式展现，而何颖宜的互动装置《离开爱人的50种方法》也会为原本的停车场空间增添不少别样体验。 Sundowner’s syndrome is experienced when someone becomes agitated, confused, and more active as day turns to night.
As part of a special public program supported by Macalline Art Center and Gallery Weekend Beijing, we have invited Rania Ho to build a place where sundowners can stop, chat, and enjoy a snack as the suns sets. Amongst these spring hills, enjoy videos commissioned by the Center’s Bare Screen committee on an outdoor screen. This offline screening will showcase new works from Chen Zhou, Tao Hui, Tianzhuo Chen, Qinmin Liu, Zheng Ke and Tan Jing, and Tang Chao. Rania Ho’s interactive installation 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover will add novelty to the parking lot space.

作为美凯龙艺术中心发起的数字影像委任项目，“赤屏”以当代艺术家的创作为对话的出发点，是一次放大当下情境和情绪的努力。“赤屏”试图消除噪音，在不断变化的媒介环境所带来的各种愉悦和不适体验中，渗透到我们文化意识的最深层。2020年12月起，“赤屏”项目在美凯龙艺术中心官方网站与官方微信公众号持续发布来自陶辉、陈天灼、刘沁敏、郑可与谭婧、唐潮、佩恩恩、张文心、刘窗、胡伟、刘娃等艺术家的作品。“赤屏”项目由美凯龙艺术中心艺术总监富源策划。
Bare Screen is a program of new digital artwork commissions launched by Macalline Art Center. Bare Screen reflects on how artists intervene in mass culture and aims to magnify our current circumstances and emotions. The program attempts to shut out the noise, diving to the deepest level of our cultural consciousness through the experiences of delight and discomfort that arise from an ever-changing media environment. From December 2020 onwards, Bare Screen presents an artwork or a group of artworks every month, created by leading artists including Tao Hui, Tianzhuo Chen, Qinmin Liu, Zheng Ke and Tan Jing, Tang Chao, Payne Zhu, Zhang Wenxin, Liu Chuang, Hu Wei, and Liu Wa. Bare Screen is curated by Yuan Fuca, artistic director and curator of Macalline Art Center.
美凯龙艺术中心2020年12月17日于北京宣布启动。由红星美凯龙控股集团有限公司支持，非营利艺术机构美凯龙艺术中心由艺术赞助人车宣桥创立。美凯龙艺术中心实体空间将于2021年揭幕并面向公众开放，更多开幕细节即将公布。
Macalline Art Center, Beijing’s newest non-profit art institution, softly launched on 17 December 2020. Supported by Red Star Macalline Holding Group Co., Ltd., Macalline Art Center was founded by collector Che Xuanqiao. Located in Beijing, Macalline Art Center will open its physical space to the public in 2021, more details of the official opening will be announced soon.
