to their beloved spot. It’s the location of the first Big Bamboo,

Hu (Heritage by Madison) is doing a brunch takeover at Italo—smashing
Americanese with Italian food. Dishes are a la carte. Menu includes 36-layer artichoke-truffle lasagna, fried tiramisu French toast, handmade pasta, breakfast pizza, and more. Free-flow is ¥168 for house white/red/rose wine, prosecco, Spritz, G&T, Bloody Mary, and three flavors of Bellinis, from 12-4pm.

In addition to the brunch at Italo and running Heritage, Austin Hu
is running a pop-up at Union Trading Co. In its third iteration, Taco
Chino is the bastard love child of two of Austin Hu’s favorites: Mexican
and Chinese. It’s all about completely inauthentic and totally
blasphemous pairings of fresh corn tortillas and the flavors of Sichuan,
Xinjiang and the like.
Meanwhile Yao Lu is gonna be throwing down cocktails (¥50) from the same playbook, drawing from agave classics like margaritas and palomas and fusing them with familiar flavors. Four tacos for ¥100 or one for ¥30, five tacos available. Food menu above.
