BOR Eatery chef Kasper Pedersen is leaving for greener pastures back in Denmark—this may be the last chance you get to eat his food in Shanghai. Taco Chino Pop-Up at
Union Trading Co.

In addition to the brunch at Italo and running Heritage, Austin Hu is running a pop-up at Union Trading Co. In its third iteration, Taco Chino is the bastard love child of two of Austin Hu’s favorites: Mexican and Chinese. It’s all about completely inauthentic and totally blasphemous pairings of fresh corn tortillas and the flavors of Sichuan, Xinjiang and the like.

Meanwhile Yao Lu is gonna be throwing down cocktails (¥50) from the same playbook, drawing from agave classics like margaritas and palomas and fusing them with familiar flavors. Four tacos for ¥100 or one for ¥30, five tacos available. Food menu above.
