Chefs come together for Heritage by Madison with three “Heritage Sessions” lined up.
Vol #1 - Asian Flavors kicks off on Thursday with six chefs Derek Wu (Heritage), Kelley Lee (Liquid Laundry/Boxing Cat), Carlos Sotomayor (UP Shanghai), Jason Oakley (Cages), Tom Ryu (Jeju Izakaya) and Ling Huang (Pirata), and guest bartender Yao Lu (Union Trading Co). It’s ¥398 per person, for food and one welcome drink.

DRiNK Fest is an 11-day event with over 200 participating bars and venues across more than 40 cities in China. More than 40 Shanghai venues are offering a dedicated DRiNK Fest menu of five craft drinks exclusively priced at just ¥50 each. Chef Gabo of Anarkia is taking over the kitchen at Tomatito on Friday for an Asian-Mediterranean feast. On the menu are wagyu sandwiches with tomato jam, slow-cooked monk fish liver with yuzu ponzu, deep-fried cheese in hot dog buns with chili concerns, paella with morcilla and baby octopus, short rib, and deep fried Twinkies. Menu is a la carte, beers by Mikkeller.

The Bull & Claw chef Hardeep Somal and Desi Dhaba’s Anu Aggarwal make a fine pair when it comes to churning out tasty modern Indian food. They’ve joined forces for a seven-course Diwali menu, ¥688 per person.
Dishes that make your mouth water like paneer tikka, tandoori salmon, lobster masala with butter sauce and lamb biryani with saffron rice. They also have a vegetarian option for 25% off. Bookings necessary.

Le Cafe des Stagiaires is celebrating its 9-year anniversary with a big bash on Saturday. Festivities start with brunch, which has the option for 2 hours of free flow for ¥158. Happy hour will be extended from 4-8pm. DJ sets throughout the day and into the night.
