Monkey 47 gin is launching Monkey 47 Supper Club, an on-going dinner series that pairs cocktails with food.

Monkey 47 brand ambassador Zachary Connor de Git is teaming up with Oha Eatery chef Blake Thornley for the first edition on Monday, November 8.


A six-course dinner paired with cocktails for ¥488. Limited seats available!

Monkey 47 Supper Club


The concept of pairing food and wine is universal. It's a means to compliment aromas and flavors, and a great way to enjoy a night out. Cocktail pairing is less commonplace, but is being explored by chefs and bartenders more in recent years.



The origin story of Monkey 47 Supper Club—and this particular dinner series—began a decade ago at Tippling Club, Singapore. The award winning bar was Zachary’s old stomping ground, and it was where he first experimented with pairing cocktails and food. It was also, coincidentally, how he and Blake first met.


This dinner series aims to explore the world of flavors and aromas through a culinary journey with an exciting food menu and diverse cocktails that have been paired and crafted with care and purpose. It’s adventurous, fun, and all about enjoyment, with personalized service from both chef and bartender.

What's On The Menu


The first edition combines the unique flavors of Guizhou with chef Blake’s contemporary style, paired with unique Monkey 47 cocktails. It's a six-course dinner, each dish paired with a cocktail, plus a welcome drink for ¥488.


Oha Eatery


Here's what to expect:


Course 1

Seared scallop in a bright radish and green Buddha’s Hand sauce, paired with a champagne-inspired Monkey 47 Dry Gin and green Buddha's Hand.


Course 2

Smoked baby bamboo over pork sausage with creamy bean paste, paired with Monkey 47 Dry Gin infused with smoked baby bamboo, Lillet, and sherry.


An excellent pairing of smoky bamboo, savory sausage and a low-ABV martini-style drink.


Course 3
Textures of Fig - Candied and fresh figs, smoked chili flakes, crispy candied fig leaf and shaved foie gras.

Wine-inspired Monkey 47 Dry Gin with fig leaf wine and orange blossom.


Course 4

Duck and sour radish consomme with radish duck sticky rice sandwich. This is a regular menu item at Oha Eatery. The clear broth is absolutely divine and the sandwich oh-so comforting.


Course 4

Following the consomme and sandwich is a palate-cleansing drink of Monkey 47 Dry Gin, grapefruit, coconut water, and aromatic basil oil.


Course 5

Smoked ham hock with white hot sour and sea grapes paired with Monkey 47 Dry Gin washed with goat milk, boosted with lemon and lacto-fermented peach.


This is my favorite pairing, and ends the savory courses on a high note. Spicy, flavorful ham hock with a sour-savory cocktail. It’s a punchy, memorable combination.

Course 6

Dessert - Mountain lemon pepper tart, carrot, and 7-spice breton cake. Citrusy, sugary goodness with tender carrots.


Course 6

Paired with "Monkey 47 Sloe Gin Cocarrot Colada", a hot-and-cold cocktail of icy sloe gin with pineapple and lime, and a warm foam of carrot and coconut cream topped with Guizhou mountain pepper.
