W Shanghai - The Bund is celebrating the year-end festive season with dinners, brunches, and free-flows for Christmas and New Year’s, as well as a big bash on New Year’s Eve for the countdown.

Christmas & New Year’s at The Kitchen Table

The Kitchen Table will be hosting a buffet dinner on Christmas Eve for ¥1,280 per person, including unlimited champagne and drinks, and a Christmas Day buffet brunch with unlimited rosé champagne and drinks for ¥880 per person.

The buffet will be laden with charcuterie and cheese, freshly shucked oysters, sashimi, chilled prawns and Boston lobster, and hot and cold Asian and Western dishes of roasted sea bass, scallops, confit duck, braised short rib, wok-fried rice, poached grouper, and more. There will also be a salad bar, live egg station, and a carvery station with turkey, honey baked ham, bone-in rib-eye, lamb, and more. Desserts aplenty, too, featuring Christmassy treats of yule cake, eggnog mousse, bonbons, etc.

On New Year’s Eve, The Kitchen Table will have a dinner set menu with unlimited champagne and drinks. The dinner includes fresh breads to start, torched peony prawns with caviar, hot-smoked wagyu with sea urchin, spring chicken with morels, alfonsino filet, tajima M9 wagyu, and a chocolate cake. They also have a vegetarian option.  Two seatings available from 5:30pm-8pm (¥1,380) and 9pm-11:30pm (¥1,680).

Then, on January 1, it’s Social Retox Brunch to kick off the New Year! Champagne and drinks for ¥880. It’s a semi-buffet that includes a “Fisherman’s Box” of Boston lobster, baby abalone, and oyster, a seasonal salad, and a main course of either beef wellington, roasted cod fillet, or smoked and stuffed eggplant. The all-you-can-eat spread includes charcuterie and cheese, foie gras terrine, and plenty of desserts. There will also be stations for eggs, crepes, and ice creams.

Christmas & New Year’s at YEN

Chinese restaurant YEN will be serving a six-course Christmas Eve dinner for ¥880 per person, featuring dishes of lobster soup, Australian scallops, slow-cooked black garlic beef short ribs, seafood noodles, and more. And on Christmas Day, they’ll host the YEN CHA dim sum brunch with unlimited champagne and drinks for ¥668 per person.

On New Year’s Eve, YEN will serve a six-course dinner menu with one glass of champagne for ¥1,280, featuring dishes of peking duck with hairy crab, morel mushrooms and fish maw soup, Boston lobster, spotted sea garoupa, Australian beef sirloin, and more. On January 1, YEN CHA brunch returns with free-flow champagne and drinks for ¥668.

Drinks & Afternoon Tea at WOOBAR

WOOBAR will be hosting Christmas Eve drinks—it’ll be a two-hour free-flow from 9-11pm of selected drinks with pass around snacks and bites for ¥380.

On Christmas Day, WOOBAR will serve an afternoon tea for two for ¥598. A special seasonal afternoon tea is also available from December 20 to February 5 at both WOOBAR and The Kitchen Table, priced at ¥698, which includes two cups of coffee or tea and a selection of sweet and savory bites from Hokkaido scallops and foie gras terrine to raspberry mousse cakes and pumpkin profiteroles.

Countdown Party at WOOBAR & Liquid at YEN

On New Year’s Eve, WOOBAR and Liquid at YEN will be hosting a Countdown Party! Tickets to the NYE Countdown Party is ¥298 per person, which includes one glass of champagne.
