酒店设计通常会被很多人看做是一件停留在表面的事情，但它是从建筑中演变出来的，是建筑声音的另外一种表现形式，它有着复杂的层次感。而理解这种层次感，我们有必要去了解“hospitality”的起源。hospitality在传统的释义中被理解为“酒店设计”，其实它不光是酒店设计，更是一种文化的延续与继承，这也是我们在设计中常常缺乏的部分“欢待之道”。People tend to interpret hospitality design as an outward work, in fact it is developed from architecture and as another architectural form with multiple layers. To understand these, we have to know the origin of ‘hospitality’.
