From ancient times to the present, whenever people mention Qinghai Lake they think of 'green lake', 'blue sea' or 'fairyland', because of the marvelous natural beauty reflected on it. As to the area, it is the largest inland and salt water lake in China. It is no exaggeration to say that Qinghai Lake is a miracle that is endowed by a deity. Outside, he circles the lake with four continuous mountains and extends broad grassland at the foot of them. Inside, like a master baker, he decorated the water with many little islands. All these natural attractions come together perfectly to form a Xanadu on earth to win many tourists' favor.

Xining Arrival

Upon arrival, our driver shall welcome you in the airport/train station. Then we will transfer you to our reserved hotel. The rest time if for you to get relaxed or stroll around on your own.

Xining-Jinsha Bay-Hudongzhong Pasture-

151 Station (75km)

After breakfast, we will proceed forward to Xihai Town. Our driver will help to rent the biking equipment. Warm up and let’s get the adventure started. Bike along Jinyintan Grassland for 35km and continue to drive eastward to 151 Station. The biking distance would be around 75km.

151 Station-Jiangxigou Village-

Heimahe Village (70km)

After breakfast,t we will bike along the Qinghai Road for about 70km. You can see the Qinghai Lake is just besides you when biking. Lunch at Jiangxigou Village and then proceed to Heimahe Village. Later we can go to visit the Chaka Lake. Located in western Qinghai province, Chaka Salt Lake is a natural crystallized saline lake surrounded by mountainous scenery. The snow-white lakebed and the crystal blue water reflecting the azure sky wins it the reputation of the "Mirror of the Sky." Please note that there is no cycle track so we will share the road with other vehicles on the way.

Heimahe Village-Chaka Lake-Shaliuhe Station-Gangcha County (101km)

Watch the sunrise at lakeside and we start our journey again. When biking, you can see the grassland is on your left side and the Qinghai Lake right side. What an amazing experience! Today we will bike for about 101km, so please be prepared. After arrive Gangcha County, we will have free time at the lakeside and enjoy the quiet and picturesque landscape.

Gangcha County-Ganzihe Village (45km)

Today will be our last day biking. After breakfast, we will ride about 45km to Ganzihe Village. Lucky enough, we may be able to see wild antelopes and other animals on the way. Celebrate the accomplishment of this wonderful trip and enjoy the rest time on yourselves.

Ganzihe Village-Xining Departure (drive only)

After breakfast, we will drive from Ganzihe Village back to Xining, which may take about 2.5 hours as this area is unopen regions. We will send you to the train station/airport. It’s better to book the transportation departing after 2pm just in case there is traffic condition. Tour ends. Safe journey back home!
