目前，在国际学术期刊发表的论文中，中国作者姓名的表述形式经常由于语言习惯等原因出现不规范或不一致的情况。这种现象时常给数据统计、资料查询和文献检索带来很大的困扰。
Cell Press细胞出版社很高兴地告诉大家，目前旗下大部分期刊支持作者在提供英文/拼音姓名的同时，将中文汉字姓名作为Alternate name展示。

问：如何申请使用中文汉字署名？
答：非常简单！如果你投稿的期刊支持这项服务，请在Word文档中添加，具体说明请参考每本期刊作者指南部分 （Proof期间也可以提交中文名字哦）。
问：已发表的文章是否可以添加中文汉字署名？
答：不可以，我们目前暂不提供这个选项。
问：姓名中出现的生僻字是否可以正常展示？
答：根据我们之前的经验，只要汉字字符可以在Word文件中正常插入即可正常在网页上展示。具体情况请咨询期刊编辑部意见。
我们相信此举可以帮助大家在Cell Press细胞出版社旗下期刊发表文章时避免因语言习惯不同等原因导致的作者姓名分辨误会或混乱（如姓名颠倒，或者无法辨别姓和名）。
