Across the thousands of mountains and rivers, we gather here in Yan Yuan. Despite the thousands of miles, it feels that we are just a song away. Every singer does the music way, so let their music melodies bridge over geographical regions and frontiers.

As golden autumn dawns, it’s the time of the year again for Peking University International Culture Festival (ICF). A new round of registration for Peking University Top 10 International Students Singing Competition has begun. Join us, and allow music to motivate your adolescences, as you turn your dreams into reality. Join us, and let the world hear you sing.

第16届北京大学国际文化节

北京大学国际文化节作为北京大学品牌活动和年度盛会，自2004年开始举办，至今已成功举办了15届。秉持着北京大学“兼容并包、思想自由”的文化传统，国际文化节以丰富多彩的活动汇聚全球青年，为来自世界各地的文化提供自由表达、平等交流的平台。经年来，国际文化节的活动内容和组织形式日臻完善。如今，国际文化节已成为燕园一年一度的文化盛会，多元文明在这里交汇、碰撞，展现出蓬勃的生命力，使北大成为连接中外、沟通世界的国际化舞台。

第16届北京大学国际文化节正开幕在即。本届北京大学国际文化节以“世界无界，未来已来”为主题, 期望来自世界各地、五湖四海的莘莘学子能够在北大欢聚一堂，在全球舞台开拓视野，在时代前沿施展才华，共同成就非凡自我，携手筑梦美好未来。

Peking University 

International Culture Festival 2019 

As one of the grandest events in Peking University, the International Culture Festival (ICF) is an annual event held in PKU in celebration of the unique cultural diversity on campus. Held since 2004, the ICF has been running for the 16th consecutive year today. Upholding the cultural tradition and university spirit of “Academic freedom and Inclusiveness”, the ICF brings youth from all over the world together, providing a platform for equal and mutual exchange of the different cultures. Over the years, the organising committees have been working on improving the content and organisation of the ICF, shaping the inclusive campus environment with this annual multi-cultural event and at the same time connecting China with the world on the international stage.

The ICF 2019 of Peking University is just around the corner. The theme for this year’s ICF is “A World Without Borders, The Future Is Now”. It calls upon individuals from all over the world to gather in PKU, dream and work towards the future together.

第14届北京大学留学生十佳歌手大赛

留学生十佳歌手大赛，作为北京大学国际文化节的重要系列活动之一，由北京大学国际合作部主办，北京大学海外传播办公室协办，北京大学学生会国际交流部承办。作为国际文化节的经典品牌活动，这将是一个国际朋友展示自我风采的舞台，也会是一个世界文化交相辉映的盛会。

留学生世界歌手大赛已经进入到第14届，比赛的主题为 “跨越国界，应声而和”：“跨越国界”寓意了音乐能够替代语言，沟通人们之间的心灵，让国界带来的隔阂逐渐消散；“应声而和”寓意了来自不同文化背景的北大学子们都能够在同一个平台上聆听着同一个声音，而这一宛转悠扬的旋律情系着每个北大人。

PKU Top 10 International Students Singing Competition

The Top 10 International Students Competition is held in conjunction with Peking University’s annual International Culture Festival as one of its core events. With the strong support from PKU's Office of International Relations and Office of Global Communications, as well as organizers from the PKU Student Union International Exchange Department, the competition provides a splendid platform for every PKU student, regardless of their nationality, race or culture, to showcase their musical talents and form unfeigned bonds with one another.

This annual competition has entered its 14th year, with “Transcending Cultures” as the theme for this year’s competition. “Transcending” encompasses an inherent meaning of going beyond the range and limits of divisions, both in a concrete, and abstract way. As a universal language, music has the capacity of connecting individuals, and diminish boundaries which may seem to be unbreakable. The Top 10 International Students Singing Competition warrants an opportunity for everyone to witness the power of music, in search of forming unfeigned bonds between every PKU student.

Rules of the competition

个人或组合

欢迎中外合作

但组合内须至少一人为留学生

You can choose to either enroll in the solo category or the group category.

Collaborations between international students and local Chinese students are strongly encouraged.

If you are signing up for the group category, there should be at least one international student in the group.
