I’d like to watch the comedy about school life since it’s much closer to our daily life and I would feel relate to the stories in the show. Although TV shows, especially comedy would exaggerate when describing the campus life and the plot may deflect a little bit from the real situation; still, the depiction is based on facts and as I watch it, I would see some familiar scenes and hear certain conversation that triggers my memory and make me laugh. Sometimes I may even see my classmates or teachers casting certain roles. It provides refreshment that lets me unwind and relax. In contrast, interview with school leaders sounds boring since they may discuss about some campus regulations all the time; besides, even though I’m interested in political and social events, I don’t like watching the relevant debate because I’d rather form my own opinions and then discuss about them with my friends or professors. It’s more fun this way.

I think it’s a good idea to stay in touch with families and friends during the trip. For one thing, I could let them know that I’m safe. Actually, I didn’t have this habit before but several months ago, my Mum went to Tibet and during her journey, she kept me posted about her next destination and even schedules for the following days. At first I didn’t quite understand why she did this but gradually I realized that she just didn’t want me to worry about her. So I think I should stand in her shoes and share with families about my trip so that they won’t feel concerns for me. Besides, if I send friends photos during the trip, like mouth-watering dishes, breath-taking scenery, and classic architecture, it is as if they were accompanying me all along. In this way, they could enjoy the fantastic experience and I won’t feel lonely either.
