狼群挥舞狼毫

当夜色低下头颅
梦里梦外
总有死不暝目的眼睛

| Wolves

With vernal breeze spreading rice  paper
Sunshine lapping accumulated snow on the distant mountains
Wolves wield their hair brushes
Daubing on the grassland randomly
When night lowers its head
Within dreams and without
It  always has a pair of eyes that would never close even at death

祭天的人
带着他的王朝走了
留下一把黄土
堆向历史的路口
像一枚随手丢落的棋子
躲在一首诗里
叹息

| Temple of Heaven

Having offered sacrifice to Heaven
The emperor left
With his dynasty
Leaving a handful of loess
Piled at a historical crossing
Like a piece of chess dropped at random
Hidden in a poem
Sighing

| 夜晚
落日摁下按钮
梦一遍一遍复印着往事
月亮是新贴的邮票
风蹬一辆破旧的飞鸽自行车
敲开老屋木门
父亲戴一副老花镜
把灯捻挑了又挑

| Night

The moment sunset presses the button
Dreams will  duplicate the past events over and over
The moon is a new stamp
Wind pedals an old Flying Pigeon bike
Upon knocking open the wooden door of the old house
Father wears a pair of presbyopic glasses

人间那些破事都与它无关

| Ginkgo

Having undergone
Famine, drought and war Having undergone
The rise and fall of one dynasty after another
It has nothing to do with all the lousy stuff in the world
With wind blowing and rain slashing
It has learned to be reticent
Wearing a golden cassock
It has swallowed the burning incense of the Hundred-Pagoda Temple
One bite at a time  
Thus swallowing a time of a thousand years


| 红柳
没有靠山，没有背景
像一个无依无靠的人
独自站在黄昏
前不着村后不着店
人间是一望无际的戈壁
抬头只见路过的云朵
苦命的日子
被暮色一口气吞下
又被黎明吐出

| Red Willow

Without backers, without background
Like a miserable man
Standing alone at dusk
Ahead, there are no villages  Behind, there are no inns
The whole world is a boundless Gobi
Looking up, it can only see clouds floating by
The miserable days
Are swallowed in one big gulp by dusk
After which they are spat out by dawn


| 卧龙寺
毫不含糊地说
我是冲着这个名字而来
寒风扫尽世俗的字眼
汉隋唐宋渐行渐远
一个又一个故事
冬眠在匾牌的背后
供果就着香火
咽下夕阳

| Wolong Temple

I came here just for this name
Cold wind has swept all the mundane  words
The Han, Sui, Tang and Song Dynasties are fading away
One story after another is
hibernating behind the plaque
Fuit offerings
Together with burning incense
Have swallowed sunset

翻过一座山
是一座更高的山
隔着河岸
被想象反复描写
涂抹
一次一次梦见
远方原地不动站在远处
不停地招手
我却无力抵达

| A Distant Place

After climbing over a mountain
I find myself confronting another higher mountain
Separated by a river bank
Repeatedly depicted
And daubed by imagination
The distant place
Which I dream of time and time again
Just stands in its place at the distance
Beckoning to me
Yet I can't reach i


| 年轮
一圈紧套着一圈
缠入身体
成为解不开的死结
像一些反复提示的句号
活活地勒断
时光挺起的腰杆
宣判了
一棵树的末日

| Annual Growth Rings

Entangled in the body
Forms an inextricable fast knot
Like periods acting as repeated reminders
The rings break off
The back time has straightened up

The doom of a tree

| Mount Hua

The iron chain is like a flash of lightning
Sunlight follows the mountain shapes
And cuts one stroke after another
The cold wind makes winter scenery
Move from one peak to another
Turning back
You will see the setting sun slowly roll up a picture
And fall asleep into a dream


| 冬至
风低头扯动着风扇
月光伸手
揭开往事的锅盖
星星如一盘煮好的水饺
思念摸着夜色
又一次把故乡端到眼前
我从梦里咬出
一枚硬币

| Winter Solstice

Wind bows its head and sets  fans into motion
Moonlight reaches out
To uncover the pot cover of the past events
Stars are like a plate of boiled dumplings
Yearning gropes its way at night
And once again carries my hometown before my eyes

Is an arrow shot at the native land
Flight wings have grown out of bodies

落叶一再暗示
一切跟生命无关的词语
都得割舍
秋风会掏空所有修饰
只留下一片苍白
交给天空
夕阳怀揣一丝牵挂

| Autumn

That all words that have nothing to do with life
must be eliminated
Autumn wind will hollow out all decorations
