The elephant was so strong and big.

Elephants have long noses, big ears and short hairs.

I went to bird world.

My favourite birds were the penguins and ostrich.
我最喜欢的鸟是企鹅和鸵鸟。
Penguins can't fly, but they can swim.
企鹅不能飞，但是他们能游泳。
Ostriches are the biggest birds in the world, they can't fly.
鸵鸟是世界上最大的鸟，他们不能飞。
I went to see the insects.
我去看的昆虫。
There was one very big beautiful butterfly.
有一只非常大非常美的蝴蝶。
I also went to the sea world.
我还去了海洋世界。
I saw a whale shark.
我看到一只鲸鲨。
It's a really large fish.
它真的是只非常大的鱼。
I went to reptile world.
我去了爬行动物世界。
I saw many snakes and crocodiles.
我看到很多蛇和鳄鱼。
The crocodiles have big mouths and many teeth.
鳄鱼有着大嘴和许多牙。
I think they wanted to eat me.
我以为他们想吃掉我。

How do animals spend winter safely? Different animals have different ways.
动物们怎么安全过冬呢？不同的动物有不同的方法。
Some animals collect their winter food in the autumn.
一些动物在秋天收集食物。
In the winter, they just stay at home and eat the food they collect in the autumn.
冬天，它们就待在窝里吃它们在秋天储存的食物。
For example, squirrels collect seeds and nuts, and beavers collect sticks.
比如，松鼠收集种子和坚果，海狸收集树枝。
Many birds cannot find food in the winter, so they fly from the north to the south in the autumn.
许多鸟在冬天找不到食物，多以它们秋天从北方飞到南方。
They fly back the next spring.
来年春天它们再飞回来。
For example, swans and wild geese fly away in the autumn, because they can find food in the warm south.
比如，天鹅和大雁秋天飞走，因为它们能在温暖的南方找到食物。
Some animals sleep for a long time in the winter.
一些动物要冬眠。
They eat a lot of food in the autumn.
它们秋天吃掉很多食物。
In the winter, they do not eat anything.
冬天，它们什么也不吃。
They are hungry when they wake up in the spring.
它们春天醒来后很饿。
They usually look for food in March or April. Bears, snakes and frogs are such animals.
它们通常在三四月份找吃的。熊、蛇和青蛙就是这种动物。
Winter is cold in many countries, but these smart animals can spend it safely.
很多国家的冬天都很冷，但是这些聪明的动物都能安全度过。
