Eduardo Souto de Moura,1952年生葡萄牙建筑师,2011年普里兹克建筑奖得主。
Souto de Moura 在学建筑之前学了一段时间的雕塑,后转到波尔图建筑学院并于1980年毕业。1974年到1979年SDM就职于西扎的事务所,也是Siza鼓励他开启自己的事业。1981年到1990年,SDM在波尔图建筑学院做助教,后被任命为教授。与此同时,他也是日内瓦建筑学院,巴黎国立高等建筑学院(Paris-Belleville),哈佛大学,都柏林建筑学院,苏黎世高工和洛桑建筑学院的客座教授。
2011年他成为继Álvaro Siza之后第二个获得普利兹克奖的葡萄牙建筑师。

"I have alwasys understood the Modern Movement as a continuation of Classicism. Basically, it is a discourse of continuity with different techniques and intentions, but with common underpinnings: proportions, the relationship betweeen structure and form, a refined language."
