HiPhi to again deploy Meridian Audio's sound system

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 3, HiPhi, the Chinese luxury electric vehicle brand owned by Human Horizons, announced the deepening of its strategic partnership with the British luxury audio brand Meridian Audio.

The two companies will further strengthen their collaboration in the field of luxury car audio systems and explore continuously evolving sound experiences. Since their collaboration in 2020, HiPhi's two flagship models, the HiPhi X and the HiPhi Z, have featured Meridian Audio’s acoustic system, which closely connects passengers with emotional experiences from live music performances, providing HiPhi owners with an innovative and luxurious onboard experience.

The audio system development and tuning for the HiPhi X and the HiPhi Z were also completed by Meridian Audio's engineering team, in their professional laboratory at their headquarters in Cambridge, England, adhering to Meridian’s standards. 

The HiPhi Z is the second model HiPhi has collaborated with Meridian, and its audio system platform has a maximum power of 2,820W, with 23 speakers arranged in a surround layout. Each speaker is equipped with a dedicated independent power channel to ensure low distortion and high dynamic audio experience. Meridian's six core tuning technologies, including TRUE TIME, DIGITAL PRECISION, HORIZON, PERFECT BALANCE, INTELLI-Q, and RE-Q, were fully applied to the custom audio system constructed based on the unique interior design. 

Furthermore, HiPhi has also conducted in-depth research on different types of speakers' diaphragm materials, combined with NVH tuning of the vehicles and innovative sound-absorbing materials application, the automaker has turned its cockpit into a music art palace on wheels.

Notably, HiPhi’s third production model will also inherit the authentic, vivid, and natural ultimate sound experience through the integration of the Meridian Audio system.
