由dART 为大家呈现的 Patrick Gräser aka Answer Code Request 一直以来在 4/4拍 techno世界中独树一帜的。他带着自己在Ostgut Ton发行的第二张专辑《Gens》回来了。同样用低音与碎拍重度交错的Techno将听众导向一个比以往更加深沉黑暗的领域。

Answer Code Request 带着他在Ostgut Ton发行的第二张专辑Gens回来了，进入着一个同样深重却愈加黑暗的领域。
来自德国的Techno DJ和制作人，Answer Code Request（Patrick Gräser）对音乐融会贯通的理解和处理方式让他的音乐在4/4拍techno世界中独树一帜。凭借Pad驱动的和声，变幻莫测的错拍以及复合的工业音波，2012年在Ostgut Ton厂牌发行首作后Gräser成为了Berghain驻场。在这里他建立着自己的独立宇宙。作为DJ，Gräser在活跃于派对帝都柏林之余还将他低音与碎拍重度交错的techno带到了遍布全球的俱乐部和音乐节。
如今，音乐视野有了更强的前瞻性。当下还是2018年初，我们就已瞥见电子乐场景中百家争鸣，各种曲风间的界限也愈加模糊。刚刚推出的第二章专辑LP Gens (Ostgut Ton, 2018)，Gräser的视角穿越了上一张Code (Ostgut Ton, 2014)的贝斯乐园，走向如当下全球环境般荒芜的暗涩地平线。

某种意义上，Gens (拉丁语“部落”或“族裔”)扭转了硬核一致化这个概念，如资历最深的电子乐评人 Simon Reynolds 所述：根植于美欧techno的传统中，Gräser在这些硬邦邦的东西的衍生物里寻找着解构这一切的可能：从氛围舒缓的jungle到后来各式各样的英式bass和IDM。这些有意思的变化在Gräser的履历里都看得到——80年代初成长在柏林墙外，后来从东德的青年广播DT64跳到美国hip-hop, acid和早期英国硬核——一个政治环境的剧烈突变带来的音乐喜好的彻底转折。

Both as a DJ and a producer, Patrick Gräser aka Answer Code Request has honed a hybrid musical approach that stands out in a world of uniform 4/4 techno. Melding pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks and an industrial sonic palette, Gräser has occupied a unique space within the Ostgut Ton cosmos since debuting on the label in 2012 and became a Berghain resident shortly thereafter. As a DJ, he has taken his bass- and-breaks-heavy techno to clubs and festivals around the globe, while remaining an integral part of the Berlin scene.
Today the musical vision has proved far-sighted. While at first glance electronic music in 2018 seems increasingly balkanized, borders between genres have once again become fuzzier. Now, on his follow up LP Gens (Ostgut Ton, 2018), Gräser looks beyond the bass euphoria of Code (Ostgut Ton, 2014) toward darker horizons and a desolate atmosphere befitting of current global circumstances.
In a sense, Gens (Latin for tribe or lineage) reverses the notion of the hardcore continuum as proposed by music journalist Simon Reynolds: embedded in a tradition of US and continental European techno, Gräser seeks its disruption through hardcore outgrowths, from ambient jungle to later variations of British bass music and IDM. It’s an interesting twist when seen in the larger biographical context of Gräser who, born and raised outside of Berlin in early 1980s, jumped from East German youth radio DT64 to American hip-hop, acid and early UK hardcore – a radical shift of musical interest born of a radical shift in political circumstances.
Gräser continues to offer an alternative, bass-heavy, and groove-based path forward for techno – one that both challenges listeners and leads them through a sonic narrative. It’s electronic music free from genre constrains – one where a broad palette of broken rhythms, varying speeds, different colors and sound design draws listeners into a synthesized world of its own.

从后九十年代末开始, Gordon開始涌入澳门地下音乐界。他的 DJ Set建立在深沉而暗黑的节奏，加上工业风格的影响的响鼓。随着一种极具吸引力的演奏以及氛围，他每次都与听众们建立了独特的联系，引领听众们进入他独有的 Techno 氛围。最近他亦受邀至德国柏林最传奇的 Techno 俱乐部 TRESOR Berlin 作为表演嘉宾，与此同时他的DJ Set 也备受好评。他也和众多著名的电子音乐人一同分享舞台，如 Etapp Kyle、Bryan Kasenic、Eric Cloutier、Drumcell、Adriana Lopez、Dubfire、James Zabiela、Nick Warren等等。随后，Gordon 开始把时间和精力集中在欧洲及亚洲地区传播他独特的 “ 地下 Techno ” 舞曲。亦曾在世界多个城市演出，如柏林，日本，中国等。
From late 90s, Gordon began emerging himself into Macau’s underground music scene. His DJ sets are built on deep and dark rhythms with a spacey groove coupled with an industrial sound drums kick. With an engaging presence and a knack for telling a story, he builds a unique connection with each audience, and works any room until it sweats.Recently, He was invited by Tresor Berlin – One of the best Techno club in Berlin Germany and he got a lot of good comments for his set. Gordon DJ alongside some of the world most famous artists, such as Etapp Kyle, Bryan Kasenic, Eric Cloutier, Drumcell, Adriana Lopez, Dubfire, James Zabiela, Nick Warren, just to name a few. Subsequently, Gordon began focusing his time and energy in spreading his unique Underground Techno vibe all over Europe and Asia. He performed over a dozen cities in the world, including Germany-Berlin, Japan，and China etc.
Jeremy Cheung
Jeremy从2006年开始了他的DJ生涯，2008香港的先锋DJ冠军，在很短的时间内，Jeremy曾与Darren Emerson, Dubfire, Christian Smith, Umek, James Zabiela, Mark Knight, Four Te，arco Faraone, James Lavelle (UNKLE), Adam Freeland, Howie B, Phil K, Jo Mills, Shin Nishimura 等等一些世界上最知名的DJ和制作人合作。他的一个set中有着House，Deep house，Tech-House，Techno，Minimal，Indie Dance / NU Disco等各种不同类型的音乐。 Jeremy Cheung尝试跳舞音乐的各种风格，在近10年的世界性演出中凭借声音多元化的特别感悟，成为当今香港和亚洲俱乐部和音乐节演出中最多亮相并炙手可热的新晋才俊。他所倡导的音乐品质与演出指向深深影响其职掌的俱乐部OMA，不但使OMA成为香港最著名的跳舞俱乐部，这里更是被媒体评为东南亚最佳俱乐部排名前5。
Champion of the 2008 Pioneer Hong Kong DJ Quest, Jeremy started his DJ career in 2006. In just a short period, Jeremy has already played with some of the world most renowned international DJs and producers such as Darren Emerson, Dubfire, Christian Smith, James Zabiela, Mark Knight, Four Tet, Marco Faraone, James Lavelle (UNKLE), Adam Freeland, Howie B, Phil K, Jo Mills, Shin Nishimura just to name a few.
Beginning to learn the art of DJ-ing at 16, in his DJ sets one will find a nice blend of different genres ranging from House, Deep house, Tech-House, Techno, Minimal, Indie Dance/NU Disco and more. Having a lifelong love for a wide spectrum of music, Jeremy delivers a rocking DJ set every time with his impressive knowledge of tunes of all sorts. For a young DJ, Jeremy surely knows a lot about the styles of music, the labels, the re-mixers and the producers who creates these tunes. Going beyond the music he plays, Jeremy strives to surpass the art of mixing. Reviews from the clubbing scenes often mention his tight solid mixing, awesome selection and sequencing of his tunes. For those who have gone to see Jeremy’s spin before, they know that he is a DJ who knows the stuff well beyond many counterparts for a long long time!Jeremy is now resident DJ at Oma which was mentioned as one of the top 5 underground clubs in Southeast Asia. Besides Hong Kong, he had also performed in many other cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Mongolia.
He had been invited for 2 sessions of the famous electronic dance music radio show "Michael Beat FM99.7 and AM1044" in year 2007 and 2009 respectively. Internationally, he was also invited to do radio podcasts for Frisky.fm (San Francisco), Chicago House FM (Chicago/ Taipei), Moc Radio Network (New York), Plus Records Podcast (Tokyo), Framed Fm (UK), Relocked Podcast (Singapore), Love.Play Podcast (Singapore) and Utopia Podcast (Hong Kong).
