弥金 X David Flores X 济南华润万象城潮流跨界艺术合作项目

2019年9月28日上午,弥金画廊携手美国洛杉矶知名潮流艺术家David Flores为济南万象城“天空田径场”量身定制的巨型涂鸦墙伴随着万象城的开业仪式正式对公众开放。这些涂鸦是David Flores结合济南特色文化量身定制设计,并且是济南首个总面积超3000平米的户外涂鸦广场。在涂鸦墙上可以看到中国特色的锦鲤和仙鹤,还有济南老火车站的怀旧画面,完美诠释了专属济南的“生命律动”，为万象城建立all-in沉浸式网红地标以及打卡中心。

David Flores（大卫·弗洛雷斯）1972 年出生于美国加州，毕业于圣巴巴拉城市学院。David Flores 大学学习平面设计专业。毕业后成为自由插画师，主要为一家滑板工厂设计滑板，他的设计非常优秀，作品经常登上各类滑板或街头文化杂志。1996 年，25 岁的艺术家移居洛杉矶，成为 Deluxe 公司的设计主管。在成为艺术家之前，他曾为众多街头品牌或杂志创作过商业插画。

2000 年左右，David 开始用“ stained glass”（彩色玻璃拼花窗）风格进行个人创作，“ stained glass”是西方建筑装饰品，常见于教堂，由不同颜色的玻璃拼贴成华丽的图案，在光线的照射下能呈现出华丽的效果。David 的“ stained glass”风格非常与众不同，他向来都是一个人进行创作，使得他的作品没有受到任何其他艺术家的影响，相反，他的作品却影响了众多年轻艺术家与设计师。David 作品中人物脸部的切割线条为作品赋予了独特的魅力，黑色粗线遍布人物的面孔，并以不同深浅的同色色块填充，虽然看似粗犷不拘，但都是经过艺术家深思熟虑后的精心排布，让观众们用不同于以往的眼光与角度去欣赏作品。

On September 28, 2019, Jinan Mixc opened its doors to the public with a giant graffiti wall designed by Gene Gallery and renowned Los Angeles fashion artist David Flores. These graffiti are designed by David Flores in combination with Jinan's distinctive culture and are the first large graffiti plaza in Jinan with a total area of more than 3,000 square meters.

Chinese koi and cranes can be seen on the graffiti wall, as well as nostalgic images of Jinan's old railway station, which perfectly interprets the exclusive "rhythm of life" of Jinan, establishing an all-in-one immersive web celebrity landmark and clock center for Mixc city.

David Flores was born in California in 1972 and graduated from Santa Barbara city college. David Flores majored in graphic design at university. After graduation, he became a freelance illustrator, mainly designing skateboards for a skateboard factory. His designs are very excellent, and his works are often published in various skateboards or street culture magazines.

In 1996, the 25-year-old artist moved to Los Angeles to become the director of design at Deluxe. Before becoming an artist, he created commercial illustrations for numerous street brands and magazines. Around 2000, David began to do his own work in the style of stained glass. Stained glass is a western architectural decoration commonly seen in churches. It is made of glass of different colors and collages into ornate patterns so as to show a ornate effect under the light. David's "stained glass" style is very different.

He always did it alone, which enabled his works not to be influenced by any other artists. On the contrary, his works influenced many young artists and designers. Facial cutting line for works made David endowed with unique charm, thick black line around the face of the characters, and with different shades of the colored piece of fill, although seemingly straightforward, less but is after the artist thought carefully arranged, let the audience and from the view of different Angle to appreciate.

《共同的节日-废墟艺术计划》是一群当代艺术家聚焦待更新的原医药职工大学废墟进行就地创作的艺术展。这栋历史建筑及关联片区坐落于愚园路1088弄宏业花园弄堂口，饱经风霜却姿态犹存。在被改建为医学院之前，它曾是一座精致的私人花园洋房。

在《共同的节日-废墟艺术计划》中，弥金画廊代理艺术家Michael Arcega以及雷童将呈现他们最新的在地艺术作品。
