By Nassir Ali
Attention all Apple users: You no longer have to travel all the way to Shanghai to get an appointment at the Genius Bar because Apple will soon open the doors to its very first store in Suzhou, 9to5Mac reports.
The opening date for Apple’s 505th retail store has yet to be announced, but rumor has it construction on the building has recently finished.

The new store will be located right beside Suzhou's iconic Gate of the East (Gate of the Orient), the city's tallest skyscraper.
Although Apple's new space was rumored back in April, pictures circulated by Weibo user @Patrick_112233 all but confirmed Apple's presence in Suzhou. As described by 9to5Mac, Apple put the rumors to rest overnight by unveiling the Apple logo on the storefront.

In March 2017, Apple also announced that they will open two more Research and Development (R&D) facilities in both Suzhou and Shanghai.
While those in Suzhou did have access to several Apple related services, the incoming Apple store will serve as the first official store in the city.
It’s fair to say that an Apple store is overdue in a modernized and rapidly developing city like Suzhou, with a few users on Weibo displaying their excitement in response to the circulated images.
One user commented, “Hurry," whereas another added that they are “looking forward” to the opening of the new store.
Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhone models and more during their Fall 2018 event in September.
