食话植说 • 因食而爱

食物是给我们的生活增添趣味的必不可少的元素,也是在情人节向我们所爱之人表达意的一种方式,或是在元宵节上与朋友和家人相聚的一种方式。Food is an essential element to spice up our life, and as a way to express love to those we cherish on Valentine's Day or as way to gather friends and family together with Lantern Festival.


食物可以给我们带来满足感,也可以给我们带来伤害,这取决于它的准备方式、食材的质量、调味品的质量,以及投入锅中多少的爱。

Food can either provide us with satisfaction or cause us harm, depending on how it was prepared, quality of ingredients chosen, quality of condiments used, and the labor of love put into the pot.



正如剧作家萧伯纳曾经说过的那样:

“没有比对食物的热爱更真诚的爱。”As playwright George Bernard Shaw once saidThere is no sincere love than the love of food.


我们如何能对滋养身体的、思想的、精神的并平衡生物多样性生态系统的美好植本食物更怀感激之情?

How can we raise the appreciation of plant forward food which nourishes our body, mind, spirit and feeds back to the balance of a biodiverse ecosystem?



在情人节这天,我们想纪念Thay的正念教导,分享他的智慧话语,陪伴我们在日常生活中因食而爱。On Valentine's Day, we would like to commemorate the mindfulness teachings of Thay and share his words of wisdom to accompany us on the journey of LOVE with food, in our daily life!



1.感知当下 | 练习存在感

饭前稍作停顿,与您的食物及其深层本质进行联结。当您为您的食物而存在,并且您的食物为您存在时,感激之情就会自然而然地出现。

1.Being Present | Practice presence

Take a short pause before a meal, be in touch with your food and its deep nature. Gratitude will come naturally when you are present for your food and your food is present for you.


2.安排食之时 | 腾出时间吃饭

以一种放松的方式进食,并给您带来愉悦,而无分心和忧虑,与饮食建立健康和积极的关系。

2.Organize your Meal | Make time to eat

Eat in a way that is relaxing and brings you joy without distractions and worries. Develop a healthy and positive relationship to eating.

饭前注视你的食物,引导大脑与你的行为一起在线。享受每一口,真正成为餐食的一部分。

3.Contemplating our Food | Practice awareness 

Contemplate on your food before eating, guide the mind to be with your actions. Enjoy each bite and truly become a part of your meal.



4.有意识的吃饭|品尝你的食物 

用心饮食,知道我们是身体的看护者,而不是主人。仔细咀嚼食物,并享受当下接受大自然的礼物的感觉。

4.Chew with Awareness | Savor your food 

Eat with care, knowing we are caretakers of our bodies, rather than the owner. Chew your food mindfully and be present to receive the gifts from nature.



5.我们就是我们所消费的 | 意念之觉 

每一餐,我们都会做出有助于或损害我们和地球健康的食物选择。看着我们的餐盘,好像我们可以看到地球母亲,每吃一口都会加深我们之间的联系。

5.We are What we Consume | Be conscious 

With each meal, we make food choices that either help or harm our health and of our planet. Looking at our plate, we can see Mother Earth and will deepen our connection with each bite.

抽出时间放慢脚步,让我们的能量通过上述的正念饮食贴士沉下来,这将会给我们与食物的关系带来深远的影响,并播种慈悲的种子。


请记住,每一勺食物都包含天空、雨水、阳光、土壤、矿物质、微生物、动物、植物,以及农民、供应商和生产者的劳动力。


Finding time to slow down and allow our energy to sink down with above mindful eating tips will bring profound results to our relationship with food and cultivate seeds of compassion.  

Keeping in mind, each spoonful of food contains the sky, rain, sunshine, soil, minerals, microorganisms, animals, plants, as well as labor of farmers, suppliers, and producers.
