今天我们将带来今年夏天建筑城设方向的首发studio——Studio08的开营预告，其中包含studio的详细课程安排和具体报名信息，请同学们耐心观看，千万不要错过自己心仪的“它”哦！

2018 RAC 一对多专业课（即Studio）简介：

Studio教学模式源于国外，是一种通过一到两名专业老师与十名左右学生的思维碰撞，在一段时间内完成一个课题研究的具有学术性、实操性的专业课程。RAC的线下Studio课程正是结合这种师生零距离交流、讨论、批判的教学方式，帮助学生提高设计方案的水准并提前适应国外的教学风格。

课程背景（Studio Background）

Architectural narrative is often derided in modern and contemporary architectural theory as anecdotal and anti-intellectual: a frivolity of postmodern thinking. Still, the effect of a good story is becoming more and more prevalent as new technologies and design methods see the light. In fact, narrative has become crucial to both commercial and experimental architecture, regulating its relationship to users, local culture, and site conditions. Whether in the works of current critical regionalism, like Zumthor’s or Wang Shu’s, or in the expert online marketing of younger international firms like BIG, narrative is an undeniable strength, and should be seen as an integral part of the architectural process.

建筑叙事性在现代和当代建筑理论中常常被嘲笑为奇闻轶事与反智主义：后现代思想的轻率。 不过，随着新技术和新设计方法的出现，一个好故事的效果变得越来越普遍。 事实上，叙事性对于商业和实验性建筑至关重要，对其与用户的关系，当地文化和场地条件进行约束。无论是在卒姆托或者王澍的当前重要的地域主义作品中，还是在像BIG这样的年轻国际公司的专业网络营销中，叙事性都是不可否认的力量，应该被视为建筑过程中不可或缺的一部分。

By intervening in a culturally-significant World Heritage site in Switzerland, this studio questions the stagnation of endangered cultural artifacts by proposing rich and radical new architectural interventions under the thematic of the Flowers of Evil by Charles Baudelaire. How to intervene and challenge fast-changing values and evolving society in such a rich, culturally and historically protected context and create a convincing overarching narrative for something beautiful through what many would consider an act of architectural violence?

通过介入瑞士具有重要文化意义的世界遗产，该工作室在查尔斯·波德莱尔的“罪恶之花”主题下提出丰富而激进的新建筑干预措施，从而对濒临灭绝的文化艺术品的停滞提出质疑。 如何在如此丰富、受文化和历史保护的环境中干预和挑战瞬息万变的价值观和不断变革的社会，并通过许多人认为的建筑暴行创造一个令人信服的总体叙事来描述美丽的事物？

课程目的（Studio Objective）

The studio will focus on developing theoretical background, technical skills, presentation skills, as well as the overall architectural concepts by confronting a unique site and culture. A particular focus will be put on coherence of ideas, innovative responses and representation, as well as presentation excellence in the service of radical ideas.

Site Info:

Switzerland is a land known for its beautiful landscape, but seldom for its density. Aside from the treacherous, mountain areas, the plateau of Switzerland is heavily built, creating a belt of human occupation that crosses the entire country.

Rural land remains a huge part of the Swiss environment, and one of the most well‐known and iconic agricultural locations in Switzerland is Lavaux, a geographically‐complex wine‐producing area so beautiful it has been classified as a World Heritage Site, and is protected and preserved by laws and regulations.

Changes in both climate and lifestyle have been affecting Lavaux like all rural land throughout the world, seeing a reduction of farmers willing to endure the physically tough lifestyle as people increasingly move into cities. As such, though almost blasphemous, it may become necessary to question this new situation where an agricultural, protected landscape may be required to integrate new programs, new buildings, and new ideas.
