报告摘要

We investigate the structural and electronic properties of synergeticly modified blue phosphorene (BP). The inversion and three-fold rotational symmetries of BP are broken. The co-doping of group IV and VI impurities can turn monolayer BP into direct band gap semiconductors. The underlying physical mechanism is that group IV and VI impurities tailor the valence band maximum and conduction band minimum respectively and move them to Γ. All the band gaps of monolayer, nanoribbons and quantum dots of BP can be modulated in a wide range, and the strong band Gap bowing is found. In addition the Coulomb interactions between the screened impurities are revealed. Lower formation energies indicate the fabricating practicability of synergeticly modified BP. Spin-orbit coupling (SOC) can also be tuned by the introduction of impurities.

田晓庆，2012年7月加入深圳大学，任副教授。其研究方向主要为凝聚态物理，包括 MoS2, Graphene, ZnO, Bi2Te3 的电学、磁学、光学性质、电荷和自旋输运性质、半导体物理、表界面物理、准粒子和相对论效应。
