  • We map quantum LDPC codes to lsing spin models and study relations between the decoding properties and phase transitions in non-local model

  • By studying the free energy and the homological differece we can extract useful information about the quantum LDPC codes

  • We estimate minimum weight decoding threshold for hypergraph-product codes based on (3,4) ensemble of Gallager code


个人简介

Alexey A. Kovalev currently works at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Nebraska at Lincoln. In 2013, he is an Assistant Project Scientist at University of California, Riverside, and from 2008 to 2010,  he is Postdoctoral Researcher of University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include:

  • Spintronics and Spincaloritronics
  • Spin-Hall Effect
  • Magnetoelectronics
  • Spin-Transfer Torque
  • Anomalous Hall Effect
  • Magnetization Dynamics
  • Nanoelectromechanical Systems
  • Theory of Spin-Polaron in 2D Antiferromagnets
  • Quantum Information Theory

会议简介




The 1st Student Conference on Quantum Computing (SCQC) is organized by the Center for Quantum Computing (CQC) at Peng Cheng Laboratory (PCL). It is a follow-up of the 1st Summer Workshop on QAS. SCQC aims to provide a platform for students (graduate and undergraduate) and researchers to present their research on quantum computing areas, including but not limited to quantum algorithms, quantum simulation, quantum control, quantum software, quantum information theory, quantum error correction, quantum machine learning, algorithm complexity, quantum open systems, quantum communication, quantum device, quantum sensing, and many-body entanglement.
