Another year of midsummer, with the rhythmic beats of the dragon boat drums filling the air, the Dragon Boat Festival is to be celebrated again.仲夏端午，又是一年龙舟季，又到龙舟鼓响时。
The first "Qianhai · Xinle Cup" Dragon Boat Race of 2023 kicked off on June 17th from 09:00 to 12:00 on Xinzhen River, Xinle Community of Xin'an Sub-district, right at the foot of the Bay Glory Ferries Wheel in OH Bay.
2023年首届“前海·新乐杯”赛龙舟，于6月17日09:00-12:00在新安街道新乐社区新圳河（欢乐港湾摩天轮脚下）开赛！
This was a brand-new festival event, organized by Xin'an Sub-district, and co-organized by Xinle Community and Haibin Community. There was a total of twenty teams participating in the race, with community residents and staff members from various organizations.
这是一场崭新的节日赛事，本次活动是由新安街道党工委、办事处主办，新乐社区党委、海滨社区党委等单位共同协办，参赛共有二十支队伍，参赛选手也都是普通的社区居民和单位工作人员。
Foreign Friends were invited to watch the Dragon Boat Race
外籍人士观“赛龙舟”
As one of the important customs of the Dragon Boat Festival, the Dragon Boat Race is definitely not to be missed.
作为端午节的重要习俗之一，赛龙舟千万不能错过。
A number of foreign friends were specially invited by Bao’an Foreign Language Association to watch the race in person and experience the lively atmosphere on site.
宝安外语协会专门邀请了辖区外籍人士前往观赛，感受现场的热烈气氛。
The race is extremely exciting and exhilarating

The oars were flying, and the waves were splashing as the dragon boats raced forward. Despite the relentless rain, the banks were still crowded with enthusiastic spectators who came to watch the game.
船桨翻飞，浪花朵朵，虽然雨下不停，但是岸边仍站满了前来观看的市民朋友。
The sound of drums, applause, and encouraging shouts never stopped. Our foreign friends joined the people, cheering for the competing athletes and capturing the moments on their phones.
鼓声、掌声、加油呐喊声不绝于耳，几位外籍人士也融入其中，为参赛选手们加油助威，拿出手机拍摄现场照片。
After intense competition among the twenty teams, 3 teams from Xin'an Fire Brigade, Haibin Community Work Station, and Haiyu Community Work Station claimed as the winners, and won the first, second, and third prizes respectively!
现场二十支队伍经过激烈角逐，新安消防队组成的火焰蓝队、海滨社区工作站队、海裕社区工作站队分获一二三等奖！
By watching the Dragon Boat Race on site, our foreign friends have experienced the traditional folk activity of the Dragon Boat Festival up close. Immersed in the atmosphere of the event, they expressed their anticipation for future opportunities to participate in Dragon Boat Races themselves.
此次到现场观看“赛龙舟”，让外籍人士近距离体验了端午节的传统民俗活动。感受到现场气氛的他们更加期盼未来“赛龙舟”活动能够有机会参与进来。
