Engineering is an internationally circulated peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The journal is published on a monthly basis in English. Online versions are available through:

Topic
With the rapid growth of renewable energy, the dependence of power system on climate is highlighted. Climate change will have a significant impact on wind or solar resources, power system balance, and electricity markets, etc.
This issue “Towards renewable-dominant power systems proactively responding to climate change” welcomes submissions focusing on power system analysis and decision-making methods, operational risk and reliability assessment, system security defense in extreme weathers under renewable-dominant power systems, aiming to comprehensive review and present the progress for this intersection of climate/weather, power system and renewable energy, and finally promote the power system's proactively responding ability to global climate change.
Topics of interest
This issue will publish original research papers, reviews, meta-analysis, perspectives, and views & comments including but not limited to the following fields:
Climate change impact on renewable energy resources and power supply capability
Renewable-dominant power system analysis and decision-making methods
Operation risk and reliability assessment of renewable-dominant power system
Security defense of renewable-dominant power system under extreme weather
Paper Length
Research Article: up to ~8000 words;
Review: 5000–8000 words;
Perspectives: up to ~3000 words;
Views & Comments: up to ~2000 words, with less than five figures or tables and less than 15 references.

Engineering由中国工程院、中国工程院战略咨询中心、高等教育出版社与国际出版商爱思唯尔合作出版。期刊为月刊,以开放获取(Open Access)的方式出版,并在期刊网站上提供英文和中文版,已被SCI、EI、Scopus、DOAJ、CSCD等国际权威检索系统收录。
