The latest update to Apple's IOS 14 version has caused quite a buzz, with some exciting new features.

However, WeChat has also released the latest testflight version of IOS 7.0.16, which also adds some "practical" features. (only some users can update to this beta version now.)

Here are some of the new features.

Select a chat dialog box on the chat page and swipe to the left.

New "Do not Show Chat" feature

Click "Do not Show" and the chat will "disappear".

But it won't delete the original chat history. 

When there is a new message of that person, the dialog box is displayed again and you can see the chat history.

Previously, when you delete a chat dialog, the chat history is also deleted, which is so inconvenient.

After the update, when we have finished the conversation and do not want the chat dialog to be displayed in the message list but do not want to clear the chat record, we swipe left to select "do not show". As a result, the group chat will be deleted without deleting the chat record.

Many netizens said it "A useful feature has finally been updated."

In the chat dialog box, click to expand the emoticons page. At the far left of the emoticons bar, a "search" button is added. Click to enter emoticons for search, and you will see relevant emoticons.

For the PC version,  WeChat updates to 3.0.0

With more and more WeChat friends, especially some WeChat friends as many as thousands of friends, management can be very troublesome.

However, with  WeChat 3.0 release, the address book management function has been added. You can delete many people at the same time.

These features are expected to be available for iOS users in WeChat 7.0.16 (currently in beta).

Once the iOS version is available, the Android version is believed to be available soon.
