A buffalo dashed into downtown Yulin in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and injured several people on Tuesday morning. It was killed by local police on the scene after its rampage. 

A video circulating on  Weibo shows that an electric bicycle cyclist waiting at a crossroad was suddenly hit by the buffalo from behind and tumbled down to the ground. The buffalo then swaggered away. 

On another occasion, the buffalo dashed into a traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy and a pharmacist was too frightened to run away. It even injured several people while at large. 

After the incident, the local police drove to chase the buffalo while it was rampaging around the city. Finally, they bumped it, cornered it with two cars and took it under control. 

A policeman then shot at the mad buffalo and killed it around noon. 

The local police released a statement on Tuesday morning, saying that those injured had been sent to hospital and the incident was being investigated.
