"As a Parent, I've Made the Right Choice Coming to CIS"
Congratulations, Grizzlies, on your successful first month of this school year! From our orientation day, to curriculum night, to exciting ASAs and Grizzly Sports, September has almost gone by in a blink!
Have you ever wondered what student life is like for our new starters at CIS? Returning from Vancouver, Canada, is Grade 5 student Darryl, who is enjoying his happy life at CIS. Here's what he and his mom shared with the CIS community.

你是不是也很好奇，CIS新同学们适应学校生活了吗？从加拿大温哥华回来的五年级学生Darryl正在CIS享受着快乐的学习生活。以下是他和他的母亲与CIS社区分享的快乐心情。
I am very happy at school. CIS is now a home to me. I like my teacher Mr. O and my friends, and I also like every class I go to. I am very happy at school because my friends and teachers are very nice to me!
我在学校很开心，CIS就像是我的另一个家。我很喜欢我的老师Mr.O和我的朋友们，我也喜欢我的每一堂课。我的同学和老师都对我非常好，所以我在学校非常快乐。

Darryl is in Grade 5 now. He is very happy at school and comes home with a big smile on his face everyday. He told me he has made lots of friends at school and is having a great time with his teachers and friends. He even told me that he likes CIS more than his school in Vancouver!
I am very happy with Darryl’s teacher, Mr. Owen. He is a very kind and gentle teacher. On the curriculum night, Mr. Owen shared his teaching concept: Children should learn with curiosity in a happy environment. As a parent, I could not agree more! Children can learn better when they are eager to learn. I will try my best to support Mr. Owen’s teaching at home.
So far, I am happy with the CIS school services. Everything is clear and organized. And I am really looking forward to start communicating with teachers through the new CIS Parent Portal.
In general, both Darryl and I are enjoying Darryl’s school life at CIS. I think I really made a excellent and correct choice coming to CIS. CIS is the best school for our family. I know that Darryl is happy at school, and as a mom, that's the best thing I can hope for!

Darryl现在在五年级。他在学校很开心，每天都带着大大的笑容回到家。他告诉我他在学校交了很多朋友，和他的老师和朋友们玩得很开心。他甚至告诉我，他喜欢CIS胜过了他在温哥华的学校！
我很喜欢Darryl的老师Mr. Owen，他是一位和蔼可亲的老师。在课程之夜，Mr. Owen分享了他的教学理念：孩子们应该在快乐的环境中带着好奇心学习。作为家长，我非常同意！当孩子们渴望学习的时候，学习效果自然更好。我会尽我所能在家里支持Owen先生的教学工作。
到目前为止，我对学校的服务很满意。在我看来，一切组织工作都很清晰，井井有条。我也非常期待很快能通过新的家校沟通工具与老师们交流。
总的来说，我和Darryl都很喜欢CIS的学校生活。我想，决定来CIS对我们一家来说是一个超级正确的选择。我知道我的孩子在学校很快乐，作为一位母亲，夫复何求。
