启动《绿色议定书》的公众咨询
HKIAC是绿色仲裁行动指导委员会（下称“委员会”）成员之一，同时HKIAC也参与该行动专门工作组（下称“工作组”）筹备框架及六份相关议定书（即“《绿色议定书》”），旨在通过制订一系列针对关键利益群体的行动方案来更好地践行环保举措。

工作组期待听到：各《议定书》中未关注到的最佳环保实践
适用文本时应是强制性还是自愿性的。具体而言，工作组期待《议定书》中的文本原文被采纳，但同时工作组也意识到在某些情况下，较为强硬的文本不适用于个别用户
对用户而言，各议定书的优势是否直观以及是否会考虑完全或部分采纳议定书
欢迎您不吝提出有关《绿色议定书》的任何书面意见，并于2021年3月15日或之前发送邮件至protocols@greenerarbitrations.com。
继全球会议后，还将开展一系列区域联动会议以吸引各区域主要参与者。HKIAC欣然宣布将于2021年2月25日主办亚太会议。如果您有兴趣参加，请于2021年2月5日或之前发送邮件至events@hkiac.org报名。

HKIAC对绿色仲裁的承诺
HKIAC通过加入委员会并签署《绿色承诺》正式表明其致力于减轻自身和用户的活动对环境造成的影响。近年来，HKIAC努力实施多项可持续措施，包括文件均以电子形式存储于安全的网络平台上，积极鼓励当事人和仲裁庭仅以电子方式提交文件，提供在线存储系统以及全方位的在线庭审服务。
同时，HKIAC在市场推广中亦采取多项措施践行指引，包括减少使用一次性物品，拒绝使用塑料制品并在所有活动中采用电子宣传。HKIAC还通过举办在线活动（演讲嘉宾和与会者均线上参与）以减少会议差旅。此类活动形式在后疫情时代将被延续。HKIAC将持续为减轻国际仲裁对环境的影响而努力。更多信息，请点击“阅读原文”。The Green Pledge
Guiding principles
The Campaign for Greener Arbitrations seeks to raise awareness of the significant carbon footprint of the arbitration community. The Campaign works with all relevant players to promote best practice in managing arbitrations in a sustainable way. We encourage all arbitration practitioners to commit to the Campaign’s Guiding Principles and reduce their carbon emissions by signing the Green Pledge.As an arbitration practitioner committed to ensuring that I minimise the environmental impact of my practice, I commit to:
Creating a work space with a reduced environmental footprint by looking for opportunities to reduce energy consumption and waste;
Corresponding electronically, unless hard copy correspondence is expressly needed in the circumstances, while also being mindful that email has a carbon footprint;
Encouraging the use of videoconferencing facilities as an alternative to travel (including for the purposes of conducting fact finding or interviews with witnesses);
Avoiding printing, requesting the use of electronic rather than hard copies of documents and promoting the use of electronic bundles at hearings;
Using, where possible, suppliers and service providers who are committed to reducing their environmental footprint (including for the purposes of arranging an arbitration hearing);
Considering and/or suggesting, where appropriate, that witnesses or experts give evidence through videoconferencing facilities, rather than attend hearings in person;
Avoiding unnecessary travel and using videoconferencing facilities as an alternative;
Considering and questioning the need to fly at all times and offsetting carbon emissions for any arbitration-related travel.
