NEWS TODAY

The Ministry of Transport of China recently launched a WeChat mini program named "E Lu Chang Tong", which includes a "Rescue" module available for trial. Drivers on national expressways can now easily call for help with just one tap.

As of the end of October this year, 6,257 service areas with charging parking spaces have been built nationwide, accounting for 94 percent of the total number of the service areas in China. A total of 20,000 charging piles have been set up in expressway service areas across the country, providing up to 49,000 parking spots for small passenger cars. So far, 11 provinces (municipalities) including Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin, Shanghai, and Zhejiang have achieved a 100 percent coverage rate of charging facilities in expressway service areas.

Users can now check the locations, real-time status and charging mode of charging facilities along the expressways throughout China with the "Charging Pile Lookup" module on this mini program.
