Latest Salary Standards for Work Permits of Foreigners Announced

According to the latest notification from the Guangzhou Science and Technology Bureau, 

starting from July 13th, when applying for a work permit for foreigners coming to China, the salary standard for foreigners working in Guangzhou has been adjusted to 10,449 yuan per month or 125,388 yuan per year.

Foreign talents whose average salary is not less than six times the standard (62,694 RMB per month) will meet the criteria for Class A foreign high-end talents. 

Foreign talents whose average salary is not less than four times the standard (41,996 RMB per month) will meet the criteria for Class B foreign high-end talents.
